500 BOOK FRIENDS?! 🥺

I started this page about a month ago because I wanted somewhere to talk about books, share my opinions, and meet people who love reading as much as I do.

And somehow, 500 of you decided to stick around. 😂

Seriously, thank you.

I’ve already gotten so many great recommendations, had some awesome conversations, and added approximately 47 years’ worth of books to my TBR.

Whether you’ve been here since day one or just found my page, I’m so glad you’re here.

Here’s to more books, more questionable reading decisions, and plenty more opinions!

Now tell me—what’s your all-time favorite book?

If I could erase five books from my memory just so I could experience them again… these would be the ones.

I’m talking about the kind of books that make you wish you could go back to page one with absolutely NO idea what’s coming.

The chaos of Dungeon Crawler Carl.

The emotions of Ugly Love.

The twists in Never Lie.

The dark world of Empire of the Vampire.

And the unforgettable characters of Lonesome Dove.

Five VERY different books, but every single one left an impression on me.

I’d give anything to experience that first read again.

Now I want to know yours!

If you could erase ONE book from your memory just to read it again for the first time, what would it be?

The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin.

This book and I had a rocky start. 😂

I’m not gonna lie, I struggled with it at the beginning. It took me a while to get my bearings, and honestly, that might’ve been more of a me problem than a book problem.

But once everything started clicking? I was HOOKED.

The worldbuilding, the mystery, the way the story unfolds… I couldn’t stop thinking about it, even when I wasn’t reading.

The only reason this didn’t get a full 5 stars was my experience with the beginning. Otherwise, what a book.

Now I’m VERY curious about the rest of the trilogy.

Tell me about a book you struggled with at first but ended up loving!

Happy Monday, Bookstagram!☀️

Figured we’d start the week with a little reading check-in!

Got outside for some fresh air, brought a book along, and thought I’d see what everybody is reading this week.

One of my favorite things about this community is hearing what everyone else is getting into. Half the time you all convince me to add something else to my already ridiculous TBR 😂

So let’s hear it!

What are you reading this week? And be honest… are you loving it or struggling through it?

FINISHED!!

Well, The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin was quite the experience.

I’m not gonna lie, I struggled getting into this one at first. But then something clicked, and I was HOOKED.

I’m talking about the kind of book where you’re going about your day and randomly thinking about what’s happening in the story.

I’ve got some thoughts about this one, so the full spoiler-free review video will be dropping later this week!

For now, I need to know:

What’s a book that started off slow for you but ended up completely winning you over?

👻 SPOOKY SUNDAY — WEEK 3! 🎃📚

This week’s pick is When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy, and I’m giving it a solid 4.5/5 stars!

This one was a wild ride. Heart-pounding action, threatening creatures, and just enough mystery to keep me questioning what was actually going on.

And the best part? Just when you think you’ve figured things out, this book finds another way to surprise you.

If you love horror that keeps you on your toes, this one deserves a spot on your TBR!

Now I need some help from my fellow horror readers..

What’s the ONE horror book you’d recommend to absolutely everyone?

I’m always looking for my next Spooky Sunday read, so drop your favorites! 👇

I need your help, Bookstagram! 😂📚

One of my favorite things about this community is getting to hear everyone’s opinions on books. Sometimes you convince me to pick something up, and sometimes you make my TBR even more ridiculous.

So I’m putting this one in your hands!

Which book would you pick to read first? And why?

I’m genuinely curious to see what everyone thinks.

Did you read your book today??

Because lounging around all day is fine, but apparently not getting your reading done is unacceptable. 😂

Last. Current. Next. 📚

Just finished The Witch by Freida McFadden and gave it 5 stars! ⭐️ I flew through this one and really enjoyed it.

Now I’m diving into The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin. Only 13% in so far, but I’m excited to see where it goes.

And up next is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. I’ve been wanting to get to this one for a while, so I’m really looking forward to it.

Three completely different books, which pretty much sums up my reading taste 😂

What are your last, current, and next reads? I want to hear all three!!

I love a good book recommendation, but sometimes I feel like we’re all talking about the same handful of books 😂📚

Don’t get me wrong, I love plenty of popular books. But there’s SO much more out there worth reading.

Fantasy, horror, classics, thrillers… I’ll read just about anything that catches my attention. And I’ll definitely tell you when I love something (or when I absolutely don’t).

If you’re into honest book reviews, finding your next favorite read, and occasionally disagreeing about what’s actually worth 5 stars, I think we’ll get along just fine.

Stick around. Let’s talk books! 📚

What’s one book you wish more people were talking about? 👀

Book mail day 📦📚

I’ve been waiting for this one and it was absolutely worth it.

The illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is seriously gorgeous. I could spend forever just admiring the artwork.

This might be one of those books I “read” by staring at the illustrations for 20 minutes at a time 😂

Which illustrated Harry Potter edition is your favorite?

Meet the newest member of Team Jeff Reads Stuff 🐾📚

He contributes absolutely nothing to my TBR, has never finished a book, and still somehow acts like he runs the place. The audacity!

Official duties include:

* interrupting reading time for scratches
* judging my book choices with looks from across the room
* providing emotional support after bad endings

I figured it was time he made an appearance 😂

What genre do you think he’d read if he could?

If you like books, dog cameos, and way too many opinions about what I’m reading, stick around 📚🐾
