Legends. If you were fortunate enough to have been a music fan in the 80s, you likely grew up listening, singing and / or dancing to both “The Boss” Bruce Springsteen and the E StreetBand @springsteen and sing-shouting “Paradise By the Dashboard Light” with @meatloafsofficialfanpage .
These 2007 12”x12” paintings by artist @howiegreen (who unfortunately passed away in December 2025) celebrates both artists in a unique way.
These are the originals, in every shape of that word. These artists and the art. They make an incredible pair and would display in a true music lovers home, showcasing incredible one-of-a-kind art with three very unique artists. by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

Today I am going to celebrate an anniversary, but not the one I would have expected even four years ago.
My little buddy Grendel came to me in a dream this morning. We were playing fetch and then tug-of-war, his favorites when he was younger. Gren has always represented pure, unconditional love and a feeling of safety. In the dream, the feeling was love and reconnection since he passed some 7 1/2 years ago, and was filled with joy except for this pain of having missed him so much.
Then I connected with Lisa, and Gren was with her. When I awoke, I couldn’t understand why, but then realized today is the anniversary of saying one final “goodbye, I love you” to Lisa as she fell asleep for the last time.

This is a celebration of unconditional love, of eternal connection, and a reminder that this lifetime is short and meant to be lived fully.

Stop waiting for permission. Stop searching for certainty. Go celebrate with those you love, tell them how grateful you are for them in your life, and rejoice in the small moments.
As for me, I will remember this day as one of infinite connection and gratitude. How fortunate was I to have this many amazing loves in my life?! ❤️❤️❤️ by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

Kiya, sweet Kiya. February 17, 2026 marks a year of the day we said goodbye.
My heart has been broken for the last year, but I want to celebrate all of the goofy, funny, loving soul that you are.
We rescued you from that shelter back in 2011, where you had been hit by a car and left with a wrapped bandage on your broken hind leg. I got you all the medical help and medicine to deal with it, not knowing your energy would cause that cast to come off twice!
You loved your big brother Grendel, your human cousins, other dogs when they didn’t jump on you. Food - especially carrots!! - hugs, long walks, sitting in the direct sun on 90 degree days, staring at the lit fireplace for hours, cuddling, and just all around being a funny, loving soul.
You moved from NJ to Colorado to Connecticut and Virginia and New York. What an adventure!
You loved car rides to Rochester to see Lisa and her family. You helped me through the loss of Gren, and that was tough for all of us.
You were so strong, and I know that love and homemade food kept you healthy for much longer than the veterinarians all thought. In fact, four times we thought that it might be the end, and yet each time you healed and came back, still happy but less mobile.

I took those final six months to spend nearly 24 hours a day with you, and I don’t regret a second of it. You hung on for me, and I will forever be grateful until I see you and Grendel again. I love you, little KiKi. ❤️❤️ by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

Serendipity. The odds of something of value or meaning in random, chance encounters always fascinated me as a kid, and still do to this day.

While I was perusing art in a thrift store today, a man asked my opinion on whether a piece with the NY Mets would take a Darryl Strawberry autograph. I said I believed it would, and tested it with a Sharpie.

He recounted that he was a self-professed “sports nut,” and that he collects them as often as he can. He hasn’t gotten many of late, but was thrilled by getting them.
He then asked me about the Cuffee, thought it was a brilliant idea, and then told about 20 dad jokes, with his wife in full support of his humor. It was quite sweet.
Turns out he is a doctor who has saved many lives, and his wife now works with him. They’ve been together for decades!
In addition to all of that, he is well known as a call-in guest to WFAN Sports Radio for over 30 years. Harvey is apparently famous, or infamous as his wife joked.

We parted ways and wished each other well.

And then I went down an aisle I don’t go down, because it’s mostly trinkets and glassware.

But sitting there, quite singularly, was the piece above. It’s a picture from a baseball game, and it happens to be autographed! By whom?
It turns out, Al Downing. He is a pitcher from the 1960s and 1970s. He is most famous for one thing: giving up home run #715 to Henry “Hank” Aaron. On April 8, 1974.
“Al Downing 4/8/74”

So it turns out, I randomly find an autographed piece of baseball history. I ran through the store to find Harvey and his wife, and I give it to them.
The outpouring of gratitude was overwhelming. It didn’t just make his day, “you just made the next year for me!” he exclaimed, and said he was going to find a way to help me make the Cuffee a success.

Be open to people. Look for opportunities and take chances to speak with others. Freedom lies in not holding on too tightly to safety.
And you might just make someone’s day - or year! - if you are open to it. by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

After what I can only call the most difficult period of my life, punctuated by the loss of my dog, Kiya, and one of my best friends to cancer, I chose to take a roadtrip with a friend from Phoenix, Arizona up the California coast to San Francisco.

The trip itself was healing, inspiring, and life-giving in many ways.
I took time to have a small ceremony celebrating Lisa and Kiya. I meditated on the Pacific Ocean, ate at amazing restaurants, and allowed myself a break from job searching and trying to sell my company.

I also was graced with meeting a new friend from New York, and it is a reminder of what happens when one stays open to adventure.

This post was also inspired by a new friend, whom I hope to visit and check out volcanoes with one day soon. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 taken in Newport Beach, California by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

My brilliant friend posted on her story last week words that inspired this painting:
“To be free in the world, you must be free from the world.
Otherwise your past will decide you and your future. You are caught between what happened and what is happening.
Call it fate, or karma, but it’s not freedom.” ❤️‍🔥

This year has been one of letting go of many things, including judgement. It has also been one of being free enough to take risks that others won’t understand, but here is the thing: You don’t need anyone else’s permission to be free. by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

“What Comes Next”
A seemingly easy question, or perhaps it’s a statement.

Conventional thinking would have made this a much more ordered piece. This world, though, is quite complex. Technology shifts accelerating the change, generational wisdom with much sharper edges than previous ones, and yet a lot of possibilities in the next few years.

Looking for unconventional art to match your wisdom? Message me for information. by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

“Solid Black”
I awoke to the vision of a completely painted black canvas, the result of a dream of a few potential outcomes that started in 2024 and have already revealed themselves to be false starts.

But when I went to paint, I realized the gifts they have given me. The intelligence, heart and beauty are all still there, and this restart is truly just beginning.

Paint your black, but find your blues, your reds, your green, your purples. They are there if you search inside.

Matcha With Kim

The importance of being in the presence of incredible people cannot be overstated. The blessing of being friends with one of the ultimate ones is something I don’t know how to fully articulate.

Kim is generous in ways both obvious and nuanced, and if you’ve been in her presence, you might know what I mean. There are few people that can make this “soul connection,” and fewer still that can make you realize what a gift this life can be.

Her friendship over a period of time that I will euphemistically call “challenging” is a grace I will never forget. This friendship is also what I call “Thrive,” a literal lift in life that will move the balance of life higher.

I almost didn’t post this to Instagram, because I don’t want to devalue any of this, but I also feel like you should be inspired to follow her, join the Wednesday CWK crew, and maybe - just maybe - find a community or a friend that can bring this much into your life.
Kim, you are the best. Cheers! by @jeffreymichaelwalsh

I’ve entered a new period of growth and creativity. After spending time this week near flowing water, I was inspired to create this piece.
As with all #glassart this piece has two completely distinct perspectives, and can be hung with either one being viewed. It’s challenging to focus both on how the bottom will be seen, while imagining how the top/relief view will look. Interested in purchasing? DM me for more. by @jeffreymichaelwalsh
