The first-ever workshop of its kind in coordination between Central Michigan University’s Photojournalism program in the School of Communication, Journalism & Media and Central Michigan Life’s Student Media Board of Directors. This is our first installment of a sports photojournalism workshop, and we hope to build on it for future sessions as well. Big shout out to @jakemayphoto and our friends for helping to bring this to fruition. by @jeffreysauger

It’s not every day you find yourself on a conference call with @marylouisekelly1 like I had the good fortune of this morning. How cool is that? We, @cmu_scjm, have been working to bring Mary Louise Kelly to @cmuniversity and are pleased to announce she will be speaking in Plachta Auditorium on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Doors open at 6:30pm , the event starts at 7pm. It’s free, open to the public and made possible through our Hearst Foundation Visiting Professionals Endowment in the @cmu_cam. by @jeffreysauger
