September 20, 1993. ❤️
33 years ago today, I walked into work for my very first day in the travel industry. I could never have imagined then just how much this career would come to mean to me, or how many incredible people, places, and memories would become part of my life.

Three decades later, I can honestly say that I still love what I do.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to travel to more than 80 countries and to experience so much of the beauty, culture, history, and wonder that this extraordinary planet has to offer. Every journey has given me a story, a memory, or a lesson—and so many have given me friendships that I treasure.

But when I look back over these 33 years, it’s really the people who stand out the most.

My clients, who have trusted me with some of their most important and special journeys. My colleagues, who have made the everyday so much more enjoyable. And all of the travel advisors, hoteliers, suppliers, destination representatives, and industry friends who I have had the privilege of working with along the way.

You have all been such an important part of my journey, and I am truly grateful.

Travel has given me far more than a career. It has given me a window into the world, lifelong friendships, countless unforgettable experiences, and the opportunity to share something I genuinely love with others.

33 years later, I still wake up grateful that this is what I get to do.

My heart is full today. ❤️

Great week aboard @ritzcarltonyachtcollection Luminara. All inclusive between Whittier, Alaska and Vancouver. Delicious food, incredible scenery, amazing wildlife, the friendliest staff.

Our dad Irwin “Buz” Traugot passed away surrounded by family. He was 91 years old. Devoted husband of Adina Altschul, incredible father to Elyse Esrig (Gregg Esrig) and Jeffrey Traugot. Super proud grandfather of Josh Esrig, Julia Esrig, Brady Traugot, and Owen Traugot. He incredible enjoyed the company and love of Adina’s children Jerry Altschul (Nicole Rutter) and David Altschul and considered their children to be his grandchildren too. Jacob Altschul, Ava Altschul, Thalia Altschul.
Buz was the kindest sole you could meet. He always saw the good in people. He loved to travel and spending time with his family. He loved telling stories of his experiences with his grandchildren and loved watching them grow up.

Even though you have been in the hospital since Wednesday, this may not be the ideal way to celebrate your 91st birthday, but we are so happy to be with you today and love you very much!
