This week, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation launched Carry The Fire, the largest cancer fundraising campaign in Canadian history, with an ambitious goal of raising $2.5 billion to accelerate discovery, transform patient care, and create a world free from the fear of cancer.

Held at Ricarda’s, the evening welcomed guests into “A New Day”—an experience inspired by light, hope, and the promise of what’s possible.
And that night, the light got even brighter.

President & CEO Miyo Yamashita shared the extraordinary news that, inspired by a deeply personal connection to cancer, an anonymous donor had made a landmark $100 million gift in support of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This transformational commitment will help accelerate breakthroughs in research, education, and patient care, bringing us closer to a future free from the fear of cancer.

We had the privilege of working alongside Courtney Potterton and the dedicated PMCF team to bring this important campaign launch to life.

We were honoured once again to work with the incredible team @campfirecircleorg for this year’s Bonfire Bash Muskoka.

“Under the Big Top,” guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with carnival rides and games, sleight-of-hand magicians, spin-the-wheel cocktails, and delicious food by Mcewan catering , followed by a night of dancing to the hits of Memory Lane.

Most importantly, an incredible $1.5 million was raised to help more children with cancer or serious illness—and their families—experience the joy, belonging, and healing that Campfire Circle provides.

A huge congratulations to Chairs Pat and Jennifer DiCapo and honourary co-chairs Fraser and Christine Chapman, Tyler and Claire McNamara and the dedicated Campfire Circle team, generous sponsors and donors, and everyone who joined us for this very special evening. Because of your incredible generosity, even more children and families will have the opportunity to experience healing through happiness.

We are so proud to have played a part in such a memorable evening in support of such an extraordinary cause. ❤️
