When I was a kid, I would sit glued to the television and flip through channels hoping to discover something odd and new on TCM, TBS, AMC, TNT, IFC or some other random something. The movie we made – A PERFECT DAY FOR CARIBOU – will soon get the chance to be that something odd and new. I’ll come back when it’s time to share all the details. ✌️

This is a special theater for me and a special opportunity to bring the film “home.” I’ll introduce the movie and after the screening one of my favorite writers around, Jonathan Raymond (Old Joy, Wendy & Lucy, First Cow), will moderate a Q&A with me and Jeb.

Tickets available via link in my bio / the Cinema 21 website.

Hope to see a bunch of folks there. ✌️ by @jeffsrutherford

This is the poster for A PERFECT DAY FOR CARIBOU and I really like it and it was made by a very nice and very talented guy named @joshuaminnich.

I’m excited for people to see the movie soon and I’m excited to talk with them about Jeb, Charlie, caribou, grocery stores, the 1990s, and all the artists who made this with me. by @jeffsrutherford
