199 Steps in Whitby, England

This is an animation collaboration with @mikemorrell_illustration and his unique style

I used After Effects for the character animation, parallax camera animation and compositing. I used Limber, Rubberhose 3, DUIK and Joysticks 'n Sliders for the various items in the character animation, walk cycles and birds.

I completed the audio edit and mix in Adobe Premiere using Envato Elements sound effects.

I watched a fun clip from @bbc @bbcearth about hedgehog highways. A fascinating piece about how folks in London are building pathways through their gardens to help hedgehogs move around. @hannamations and I made this collaboration inspired by their adorable story.

Meet the Crew

I had a ton of fun working on this Meet the Crew animation for @getnomie with @benitastudiosnyc

I had the opportunity to be an animation director for these character animations and I am happy that these turned out goofy and playful with some extra personality.

The separate characters had vehicles or other personality traits that made this a fun project to explore and play around.

I completed the motion design and character animation in After Effects with the branding and character illustrations provided by @benitastudiosnyc

Hedgehog Highway BTS

This is a little BTS look at the animation rigs that I made for the Hedgehog Highway collaboration with @hannamations

This also shows the animation path for the tail and the ears for the dog that Hannah Churn illustrated: Murphy or "Murf" was aptly named by Seth P.

I used Mt. Mograph Motion Studio Cloth in After Effects for the ears and tail movement for Murf.

The Hedgehog rig includes Joysticks n' Sliders as well as Limber and Duik for various things in the walk cycle and turn rig.
