My heart is still so full after this past weekend. It was such a blessing to spend quality time with you while we celebrated the 125th anniversary of my sainted grandmother’s church. It’s moments like these that remind me how important it is to cherish our roots and the people we love. And I have to say—Aunt Beverly absolutely wrecked the saints at the Vance Granville Civic Center! She brought such a powerful spirit to the room. As I sit down to write this, my heart is filled with gratitude and nostalgia. Over 30 years ago, I had the privilege of knowing you, a remarkable person who inspired me in ways I could only begin to understand as a child. Your kindness, strength, and grace left an indelible mark on my heart, and the bracelet I gave you all those years ago became a symbol of my admiration and affection.

Last night, at our 60th family reunion, witnessing you bring that same bracelet and gift it to my 15-year-old daughter was a moment I will cherish forever. It felt as if time had folded in on itself, connecting the past with the present in the most beautiful way. Seeing that bracelet, once a token of my admiration for you, now passed to my daughter, filled me with a profound sense of love and continuity.

You have always held a special place in my heart, and this gesture deepened that bond across generations. Thank you for the warmth you shared, for being the incredible person you are, and for reminding us all of the enduring power of love and connection. Your legacy of kindness will continue through my daughter, as she wears that bracelet with pride and carries forward the values you exemplify.

I had an incredible time this past Tuesday and Wednesday night! It was a VIP experience all the way, and I had the privilege of hanging out with some Hall of Famers. We shared laughs, enjoyed great food, and created unforgettable memories. What a fantastic way to kick off my birthday week! A huge shout out to my brother/cousin @jakeclemons for everything!
