Sent my first V7! And it was slab?! I won’t do my usual criticism and self burns (as much as I want to), I’ll accept the wins!

The last move felt SO scary so I’m quite happy for even trying to get it (and doing it another 3 times! Perhaps, whilst I climb to learn and not for grades, there’s something to be said that maybe I’m better than I think I am??

Flashed a ‘V6’ Slab, woooow!

Grade is just a number, having a sesh on slab was rad- I was really happy with how transferring weight felt and being confident in my toes (even with hole-y shoes!). I was actually happier with the no-hands V0 than this but I suppose the number PB is a win by @jekgrips

I flashed my first V6 today too but I’m more happy with this climb bc I feel like I actually practised something?? All the weight transfer and trusting feet! So, today, I’m happier with a V0 climb than a grade PB by @jekgrips

I’ve been having issues with me A4 now! It’s one issue after another! But I was happy with this climb- I tried the first bat hang (and forgot what I did) and then set up the camera of confidence for a go. I honestly could’ve flashed it which was cool and would’ve been my hardest flash but, hey, it’s about learning!

Unfortunately didn’t take the W on this trip’s Rummy Championships but that’s okay bc Keswick is awesome, scrambled a rock, road a bike and drove a boat (all with friends as well!) by @jekgrips

Real fun session with @climbing.dux and @harry.lees01 which was intended on the V7 Project sesh but the naught boy that is Harry kept enticing me to try other things! (I love it really)

I did end up working more of the project where I met @willdaniels04 who showed me some beta, actually kinda looking forward to this project and enjoying the progress!! by @jekgrips

It occurs to me that I almost always climb under my limit, wether that’s in the name of injury prevention/exacerbation or focussing on ‘technique’ so I thought I’d hope on a V7, give it a go for half an hour and see what I learn! by @jekgrips

The last move really scared me but i did it, would’ve been a flash if i were braver too but learning is way cooler than sends! Also flashed a V5 (probs soft) this session too so that was rad (thanks Tom!) by @jekgrips
