During our long session, Session 5: Signs, our Gaffers, Artists in Residence (AiRs), and Guest Artists were busy! Gaffers Jen Elek and Sarah Gilbert worked hard in the Gaffer Station to make the AiRs’ and Guest Artists’ dreams come true in hot glass.🔥

AiRs Amir H. Fallah and Koak dove into projects all around campus. While Amir experimented with enamel painting on vessels and printmaking in the Print Shop, Koak was immersed in mold-making and large lost-wax casting projects in the Studio Building.

It is always a joy to watch inspiration strike and collaborations unfold in our Gaffer Station between Gaffers, AiRs and Guests Artists!❤️‍🔥

Also, a big shout out to our volunteers, staff, board members and guests for making this event a success. If Light the Forest left you feeling inspired and intrigued by glass art, we hope you’ll consider joining us for one of our upcoming Crafts Workshops.
