Thankful for everyone who helped make last night possible! Officially working on my first album and I’ve never felt more alive! Theres no limit to how far I can go when I have people like this in my corner! I never try to take these moments for granted because they all have helped shape me into who I am not only in this room but also outside this room and that means the most to me! There was no weird vibes or fake energy just constructive criticism and notes for me on how to execute on my music to take it to the next level. Sincerely grateful that I can call y’all friends and teammates! P.S. This is the first of many sessions to come so if you didn’t get an invite don’t trip! This marks the end of a chapter for me. I’ve been hesitant to post these pictures because of all the memories that flood my mind and all the emotions attached to them. I left the military and headed for Los Angeles in 2019 off the strength of hearing Victory Lap. My plan was to go to LA Film School and network to get into Vector 90. That’s!where I was planning on meeting up with Nip. 4 days after I arrived in LA, my dreams were shattered and Nip passed away. I had planned on checking out the TMC store that weekend prior to that happening but I decided to celebrate instead since it was my first time on the west coast. I don’t think I’ve ever forgiven myself for that decision but I believe someday I will, especially based on how this event went. This turkey drive brought so many different types of people together and showed me how powerful human beings can be when we put our differences aside and show up for one another! Since April I watched this run club shrink in size but grow in character and to see how much we can do as a unit when everyone operates out of love is absolutely amazing! I thought my dreams were shattered but these pictures prove otherwise. By not giving up on myself I’ve gained more than just information, I’ve gained the respect of a whole community that believes in me and a brand that I can truly stand behind. Like I said this closes out the chapter for me. The chapter of me trying to chase my dreams. I have now reached the part of my story where I get everything I ever wanted and more through God Almighty! Ive finally reached top of the mountain! I’ve finally crawled out of my cocoon and started spreading my wings! From here on out it’s time to give my very best! So next time you see me running as hard as I can remember it’s more than just me “training for marathon”. Every step I take is a step closer to me forgiving myself and every mile I run is for everyone who believes in me! It’s TMRC baby! We’re way more than a run club! by @jelijah1995

1 WEEK AWAY FROM THE 54 MILE ULTRAMARATHON!!! Heres some of the mindset behind how I feel as well as a collage of memories moments and people that kept the adventure alive! 📸: @_iivan As I stare down my past failures in both marathons that I’ve ran, I intend on putting my back to the wall and best foot forward! I’m taking myself into the deepest of waters knowing that growth only comes from pushing yourself to your limits! Everything you’ve seen me do to this point has been to strengthen my body for these type of moments! It’s ALL OR NOTHING!!! 🫡🏁💯 📸: @swerbz2408 S/o to Stix for showing me where he grew up and educating me on how to flesh put the gifts God has given me! I got to chop up with him at the Back to School Giveaway were we able to help give back to the community in a big way! 🏁🏆🧠 📸: @100kdai The opening of the Footlocker in Crenshaw District was nothing short of spectacular! It was amazing to see the mural with run club on it in person! It’s also always great to see Blacc Sam in good spirits! 🏁🖼️🔥 📸: @oneimagebyruben Thoughts from a balcony. Thinking about how far I’ve come and how they’re still so much left for me to accomplish in this life! 🏁🏆🎥 I literally had the greatest time in the world at the Prolific Album Release Party! Moments like these are the reason why I moved to LA! 🏁🏆🎥 One of the fastest women to ever run a marathon! Sharada ran under a 3 hour marathon and everytime I see her she always giving me pointers on how to get faster! ⚡️🏃🏾‍♀️💨 Melly Mel helping put supplies in the backpack that I made for some of the people on the TMC Burger Squad. They hooked us up with free meals! 🏁🍔🔥 More of dream team at the Footlocker event! I’m excited to see what the future holds! Hopefully we get another dope even like this! @sandratheegoddess If you’ve known me for over a decade then you know that it’s always been my dream to make it to LA. That coupled with the support system of family and friends is the reason I’m able to be as great as I am! 🏁🏆⚡️ I acquired two new cousins. Finished my first TRIATHLON this past weekend! S/o to the people who made this possible! I love pushing myself to my limits and seeing what I’m made of! If you haven’t done one yet, I highly recommend you get out there and challenge yourself because it’s worth it in the long run! This forced me to get out of my comfort zone and learn how to swim! I’ve never swam in the ocean before but I still had a great experience with this event being my first time! Overall proud of how far I’ve come! Today marks the second half of the year and so far I’ve logged in 113 MILES WITHIN COMPETITION!!! That’s not counting all the training you see me do thus far! I’m honoured to be apart of so many amazing communities and so many people contribute to my success it’s not even funny! I appreciate all the help and guidance I’ve received. I wouldn’t be version of myself without all of you and if you notice I’m never alone! It really does take a village to make a king! 🏁🖤🙏🏽 Here’s a breakdown of miles in ran in races this year: The Hood Half Marathon: 13.1 LA Marathon: 26.2 The Speed Project: 36 Paris Marathon: 26.2 Brentwood 10k: 6.2 Griffith Park Marathon Relay: 5.5 Total 113.2 miles 🏁🏆🥇 Stay tuned to see the next races I have coming up! The Brentwood 10k! I placed 24th but I hit a PR! The Griffith Park Marathon Relay! We came 6th overall! The Speed Project 300 Mile Relay! 🏆 The Hood Half Marathon! THE MARATHON CONTINUES PART 2 As we jump into Season 2, I would like to reflect on my experience at the actual marathon. After training all year I was disappointed about my actions in the week leading up to the event. I worked hard all year just to abandon the game plan right before the race. My body mind and soul was humbled in a way that I was not ready for and my time reflected that. My goal was 3:25 but really I would have been happy to do under 4 hours but I couldn’t even achieve that. Tomorrow I get a chance to rectify that moment and put it all on the line again in the Paris Marathon. With temperatures as low as 48 degrees, 60,000 participants which more than twice as many that ran the LA Marathon and 10x fewer hydration stations, I set out to achieve my goal and take another step towards greatness! Thank you once again to everyone who has helped me reach this level. I have already won because of y’all contributions, so now it’s time to put in the work!
