HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.

Last year in another decade but you all know that i don't give a shit about age. I only feel it in my knees. If you owe me money it's time to pay up. If you're feeling generous feel free. If you've screwed me over and feel like FINALLY apologizing, I'll accept it in monetary form. But I'm holding my breath. And while I still have a life to fund, I'm not coming from a place of desperation.

This was around May of 2017. #NINJA (my first Prius) and I got trapped under some fallen trees in Oregon. An angel named LARRY MITCHELL (of Chemault, OR) not only broke me out of my car but got me out and able to drive back to CA. The following year I went back to visit him and i bought him some biscuits & gravy and cigarettes. We hung out for about an hour but he was a busy guy...

I went back the following year and the tire/tow shop that he worked in looked really dark... so I called the number and his boss had informed me that Larry had passed LAST YEAR. Just weeks after I had last seen him.

Tonight another road angel saved my friend. And now I think fondly of my angel, Larry. ❤️ taken in Oregon by @jemappellekat

I was raised by both the worst and finest of men. A dude threw out some passive-aggressive comment my way on a #Discord forum and after playing with #BlueKyanite last night to help a friend out and taking some #TIME to recharge and recover from a reaction to a "shots my #COMMUNICATION isnso on point. I DRANK THE #IDGAF JUICE. HAPPY FALL EQUINOX 🎃

The weather is winding down towards cooler... my favourite genre film festival is around the corner... my debts are almost cleared... and soup season is upon us. My main birthday film will be Ken Russell's THE DEVILS (on a glorious 35mm print!) on 10/15. Feel free to bring me VEGAN HAWT DAWGS. I will eat them all. My mom hangs this photo thay I took while I was trekking in #TIBET in 2007 when railroad travel op3ned up. I still flew to Chengdu to acquire my tourist visa because I needed a plane ticket to enter. I remember how wild it was adjusting to the altitude and such.

Yet despite not having access to a shower for iver 3 weeks and havibg to adjust my diet significantly, this is the land in which soul finally came to peace with my existence. I'm not from this region nor do I have direct ancestry here. I just knew that all the #FREETIBET agenda mattered to me for a reason. I remember walking around Potala Palace with a hole in my heart. I remember the looks from the true people of this land wondering if I were one of them because I would always be greeted with a kimd of warmth and familiarity in which many Chinese were not. I remember seeing people on the road bowing along the hundreds of miles to Lhasa and encountering the Yak tea trucks who would nourish them with warmth and calories. I remember being offered a cup and as I drank it it had this sense pf past life familiarity.

Most of all, I remember encountering a monk whom I locked eyes with and it stirred my soul. Yet in this lifetime we are on different paths... but there's always the next.

This photo was from a monastery that I was invited to stay at. Sometimes my own insecurities will have me thinking that I'm not good enough yet reminders like these remind me that I AM.

My heart is with Nepal/Tibet now and will always be. And when it's time for me to meet my Creator, thos is where the last of my remains will... remain. ❤️ taken in Tibet by @jemappellekat
