The looking is the work.Last night at Studio 97’s Open Studios I put this up on the wall instead of standing there with a pitch. Hello Darling Welcome to Level 2, corner of Hunter & Bolton.Founders Observed wasn’t a product I designed at a desk. It was born here, because I walked into this studio & immediately understood what it could hold. A founder, in their element. Unhurried. Observed.You arrive as yourself. The creative direction, the space, the location, that’s all covered.June sessions came together quietly & I loved every one of them. I’m not someone who runs specials, but this one existed because the space demanded it. That hasn’t changed.Here’s the thing though: a founder isn’t a white wall & a white backdrop. A founder is the person moving through the city. The brownstone buildings, the elevator, the espresso floor, the coffee on the sill. It’s all part of the story.. & if you understand the longevity of editorial work.. if you lean into what these images can do for you over time, this kind of imagery doesn’t expire. It works for years.If you’ve been watching & wondering, this is the room. This is the work. One hour. Your city. Your story.& if you’d like to see the space for yourself, Studio 97 is holding an open night on July 17.All studios open. Come & find me :)Currently booked through most of July.
