Thank you to the @phoenixvillefilmfestival for screening @thedisproportionateman this past weekend! As a first time filmmaker, getting the opportunity to screen my short film in the local area AND at @thecolonialtheatre was surreal. I had such an amazing time this past weekend networking, meeting other fellow filmmakers/writers, watching a lot of great films, and participating in a good chunk of master classes.

Attending the Phoenixville Film Festival has motivated me even more to take action and be more involved with the film community in my local scene. The amount of creative talent around here and in the surrounding tri-state area is immense. To be honest, I have not felt this level of motivation in a very long time. This path I find myself on feels right; it’s a deep sense of belonging despite the fears of not knowing the destination. I’m determined to make the ideas I have a reality!

With that being said, it’s back to the grind I go! More screenings and film related updates coming soon, so please stay tuned! ❤️🎬

Today I participated in a stop motion puppet workshop ran by @blessedkeb of @big_howl at @phoenixvillefilmfestival! I love expanding my filmmaking knowledge and challenging myself creatively.

With that being said, I’d like you all to meet Freddie. Freddie comes out to play at night and lives rent free in your dreams!

P.S. I didn’t have time to make poor Freddie any arms…but it only makes him more unique! 😂

Thank you to @genreblast Film Festival for screening @thedisproportionateman at this year’s event! I had such an amazing time this past weekend networking, meeting other fellow filmmakers/writers, and watching a ton of great films!

I’m also very excited and proud to announce that “The Disproportionate Man” won Best Editing! I’ve always said that making any film is a collaborative, team effort, and @futurephantoscope is one of the best cinematographers and editors out there!

GenreBlast was a memorable experience that feels very much like a 4-day summer camp for filmmakers/writers! From the moment I showed up, I was instantly made to feel like a part of the GenreBlast family for life. My gratitude is infinite!

P.S. More screenings are coming up in the next few weeks/months, so stay tuned! ❤️🎬

I’ve had the theme song to Anything Goes stuck in my head for days now thanks to seeing the premiere of @theatrepeopleshow last weekend, and it’s been a while since I posted a random cover. So here you go! 😜 🎶
