Hi! You might have noticed the rebrand so i wanted to reintroduce myself!

I’m Jennifer. An eldest daughter with grit, a tattooed
millennial, a dog mom, hopefully one day a human mom, and a wife of a really good man. I am a nostalgic photographer who conveys moodiness, warmth, intimacy and authentic connections.

The new name came to me as i was soul searching for something that meant more to me and represented me and my art.

I love the outdoors, being barefoot whenever possible,
strong coffee, and living life a little slower and more
intentionally. Holistic wellness, clean living, and staying connected to nature are a big part of who I am outside of
photography.

Nostalgia, real connections and emotions combined with my love for the outdoors, holistic healing and being rooted and grounded with the earth.
RealAndRootedPhotography was born. 🍃🌊🌱📸

Our sweet little Willow. Words cant describe how much we miss you already and how much we love you. You were a part of my soul and rescued me just as much if not more than i rescued you. Our best friend, almost 5 years with us wasnt enough but i know youll be waiting at the rainbow bridge for us. You were tired and fought a good fight and now its time to run free and be pain free. You didnt want to leave as much as we didnt want you to but we love you to much to have you be in pain. Your big brother Marley was so excited to meet you when you showed up friday, i bet you two are running and playing together ❤️ 🐾🌈
Till we meet again our sweet butterfly chaser. We love you so very much ❤️💔 These photos are just a look at the best 5 years of our life with the best little girl. ❤️

"I was just a pup ( Willow was 2 when i met her and she came home with us) when we first met, I loved you from the start.
You picked me up and took me home, and placed me in your heart.
Good times we had together, we shared all life could throw.
But years passed all too quickly, my time has come to go.
I know how much you miss me, I know your heart is sore.
I see the tears that fall, when I'm not waiting at the door.
You always did your best for me, Your love was plain to see.
For even though it broke your heart, You set my spirit free.
So please be brave without me, one day we'll meet once more.
For when you're called to heaven, I'll be waiting at the door" by @jen.beal

My skin has come a long way!
Having dealt with acne for 22 years now, ive literally tried it all. You name the product, ive probably used it.

I have acne scaring, large pores, oily skin, still get acne as an adult.
You arent alone!

The past 2 years using Olive Tree People has helped me feel confident again and love my skin.
Research the skincare youre using! If its not EU Standards id suggest doing a deep dive into the difference. ♥️
