II was able to hike at least twice last month in KL, amidst everything else going on. My heart goes out to the haze covering the place I call my second home. I took a chance on a few days when the Air Pollutant Index was just below 100. There were noticeably fewer people out walking, and fewer elderly people, too.

One of the things I deeply admire about KL is its pocket forests and hiking trails, and most of all, its people. Seeing the haze affect a place I love is heartbreaking. But perhaps this is a wake-up call that goes beyond the air. What if the haze is also a reflection of something deeper? What has clouded the nations across Asia, and what needs to be cleared?

This speaks to my own life, too. I’m learning to let the Lord clear what needs to be cleared in every area of my life, so I can experience the fullness of His presence.

As we long for clearer skies, may we also allow God to clear the haze within us.

Visit in Visayas, Philippines

Dumaguete, Siquijor and Cebu

Our team from @247PrayerAsia had the privilege of visiting Arise to Christ Ministry in Siquijor to facilitate a Lord’s Prayer Workshop. Along the journey, we also passed through Dumaguete and Cebu, where God opened unexpected doors for ministry. Through simple detours, tricycle rides, and everyday conversations, we experienced beautiful divine appointments to share the Gospel and distribute Bibles.

We are deeply grateful to experience the warmth, hospitality, and simplicity of the Filipino people. We were reminded of the joy found in the little things and the beauty of a community that genuinely cares for one another.

During the workshop, we explored the Lord’s Prayer in an interactive way, incorporating traditional Filipino children’s games to help participants engage with each part of the prayer. It was such a joy to witness the enthusiasm and wholehearted participation of the young people.

We were especially encouraged by the dedication of Arise to Christ Ministry. Every Saturday evening, they gather young people from surrounding communities—even those who travel from distant areas—to worship, pray, and grow together in Christ. Their commitment to raising the next generation is truly inspiring.

It was a privilege to partner with this ministry, to witness what God is doing in the islands, and to experience not only the breathtaking beauty of the Philippines but, even more, the beauty of its people.

The Lord is truly moving across these islands, and we leave with grateful hearts, believing that He will continue the good work He has begun. by @jen.floresta

He Is Risen!

HALLELUJAH! Christ is risen — He is risen indeed! This is the day the earth trembled, the stone was rolled away, and death itself was defeated. Easter Sunday is not merely a religious holiday; it is the hinge of all human history. Because He lives, we live! Because the tomb is empty, our lives are full! The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive and at work in you today. This is not just good news — it is the best news the world has ever heard!

📖 “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” — Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Share the Easter message with someone who needs hope today — a text, a social media post, a word of witness. Be a carrier of the resurrection! Let the joy of Easter overflow from your life into theirs.

Sometimes we focus only on one phase of our lives —
a single glimpse of a second —
and we think it’s the conclusion.

But as I watched the trains pass by the park today,
I was reminded to wait… to stay… to trust God’s timing.

To watch His plans unfold — not mine.

Because the waiting season is never empty.
It comes with praying.
It comes with trusting.
It comes with surrender.

We may have many plans,
but it is His purpose that prevails. — Proverbs 19:21
