To my friends in Bangkok, I’m sharing the temporary shelters and free parking locations on the image in case they reach someone who needs them. Please call a shelter before traveling to confirm space and a safe route. 🤍

Food and water: Bangkok has set up kitchens in every district to send meals to residents affected by the flooding. Food and drinking water are also being arranged at temporary shelters. If you’re unable to get food where you are, contact your district office to ask how meals are being delivered in your area.

For anyone able to donate supplies: Bangkok announced these two collection points, open 24 hours:

• Din Daeng: Drainage Department building, first floor, Bangkok City Hall 2, Mit Maitri Road. Call 081-611-2878 or 095-495-7960.

• Prawet: Bangkok Vocational Training School, 295 Chaloem Phrakiat Rama 9 Road, Nong Bon, Prawet 10250. Call 089-446-1855 or 095-926-4555.

The city is requesting ready-to-eat and shelf-stable food, drinking water, milk and food for children, basic medical supplies, personal care items, bedding, and cleaning supplies.
