I went out to Thermal to help feed and water stray dogs and cats 🐾 and there are around 300 animals out there trying to survive.
Right now there is only a small handful of us going out consistently and we need help to keep this going.

We are looking for:
Volunteers to help feed and water 🙋‍♀️
Dog and cat food donations 🐶🐱
Water and empty containers we can refill 💧
Bedding and basic medical support 🛏️

If you have been wanting to help but did not know where to start this is it.
DM me if you want to volunteer, donate or be part of this. 💛

The hardest part of vacation is leaving my fur babies. 🥺 Dropping Cowboy off with his favorite aunties, aka my BFF's, for the week. Thank you @hcalih12 and @lilmmowry for taking care of my old man. ❤️🥹🐕 by @jenagnew_official

We were there to bring food and water when this boy was attacked by several other dogs. We broke up the fight and found a small wound on his back leg.

My old vet tech skills came in handy as we cleaned him up. He was so patient with us, and afterward he was back on his feet, following us around. ❤️🙌

This is some of what we come across in Thermal. You don’t always have time to prepare. You just have to think fast and help however you can.

He has owners, and we’ll be returning to check on him as he heals. You matter to us, buddy. 🐾

Eight months in a shelter, and Timmy is still waiting. 💔

He was shy and nervous, so we took things at his pace. A quiet patio, a pup cup, and time to feel safe. Little by little, he started letting us in. And he was the perfect copilot. 🥹❤️

This is why FIDO matters. Dogs like Timmy need a chance to be seen beyond their kennel.

Take a dog out. Share their video. Help someone find the dog they didn’t know they were missing.

You can hear it when someone talks about what they’re meant to do. ❤️

Loved hearing Jen Agnew share how rescuing dogs became her mission. Those animals need someone in their corner, and she’s showing up. 🐾

Watching this sweet girl eat in the truck bed that day, it hurt to think about how hungry she’d been. Just a baby, covered in ticks, trying to survive in Thermal.

Now look at our little girl. She has a family. She’s loved. She was spayed last week and is doing great. 🥹❤️

To her foster, thank you for opening your home and loving her before we knew who her family would be. You gave her somewhere safe to rest, heal, and just be a puppy. You made this possible.

To her adopters, thank you for choosing Zara and giving her the life we wanted so badly for her. Seeing her home with you means more than you know.

This is why fostering matters. You don’t have to be their forever home to change their whole life. Sometimes they just need someone willing to say, “She can stay with me.”

We love you, Zara. ❤️

Spring was ADOPTED! 🙌❤️

Brought in as a stray in February, she waited roughly eight months for someone to choose her. I took her out for FIDO back in May and got to see what a sweet, happy girl she was.

Then she was put on the red list to be euthanized.💔 Her time was running out, but volunteers kept speaking up and fighting for her. Before her deadline, someone chose her. 🥹

Spring, I’m so happy you finally get your chance. Thank you to her adopter and every volunteer who kept fighting for her. Your voices matter. Please keep sharing these dogs. 🐾

I wish you could feel what it’s like when they come running toward us. I love these little faces so much. 🥹❤️

Thank you to everyone who helps us keep showing up. We get to see them eat, love on them and tell them we’ll be back. You’re part of those moments too, even if you’ve never been to Thermal. 🐾

Donation links in my bio. 🙏🐕🐈❤️
