Happy Birthday to one of the sweetest, most beautiful souls I know! 🥂❤️

I hate that we don’t get to see each other nearly as often as I’d like, but I hope you always know how dearly I love you and how grateful I am to have you in my life. You are truly such a beautiful person inside and out, and I feel so blessed to call you one of my very special friends.

✝️ Feast of St. Dominic | August 8

St. Dominic, founder of the Order of Preachers (the Dominicans), dedicated his life to knowing the truth of Christ and boldly proclaiming it to the world.

According to Dominican tradition, Our Lady entrusted the Rosary to St. Dominic as a powerful means of preaching the Gospel. While the Rosary developed over centuries into the form we know today, the Dominican Order became one of its greatest promoters.

And perhaps that is the lesson St. Dominic offers us today:

We cannot give what we do not first receive.

So this week, let’s follow his example:

📿 Pray the Rosary.
Contemplate the life of Christ with Mary. Even if you can only pray one decade, begin there.

📖 Know your faith.
Spend a few minutes each day reading Scripture, the Catechism, or the life of a saint. St. Dominic knew that we cannot proclaim a faith we don’t know.

❤️ Share Christ with someone else.
You don’t need a pulpit to evangelize. A conversation, an act of charity, an invitation to Mass, or simply living your faith courageously can be a form of preaching.

The Dominican vocation can be summed up beautifully: to contemplate and to hand on to others the fruits of contemplation.

May we pray deeply, seek the Truth, and have the courage to share Christ with a world that desperately needs Him.

St. Dominic, pray for us.
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. 📿🤍

⚾💙 XAVIER STRONG 💙⚾

Tonight, our Dillsburg Youth Baseball 12U family gathered for our end-of-season celebration. While we celebrated a season of hard work, growth, and memories, another 12U player was especially on our hearts.

We proudly displayed this Xavier Strong banner in honor of Xavier Taylor, who remains in critical condition after a tragic baseball accident. Xavier is more than a player from another team, he’s part of our baseball community. He’s one of us.

Baseball teaches our boys about teamwork, perseverance, and showing up for one another. Tonight, these young men showed exactly what that means by standing together in support of Xavier, his family, and his Maple Shade Youth Baseball family.

We ask everyone in our own community and around the country to continue praying for Xavier’s healing, for strength and comfort for his family, and for all those who love him. The baseball community is rallying around him, and we will continue to stand with them.

Xavier, we’re praying for you and your family. We’re praying for your coaches and teammates. We’re cheering for you. We’re believing with your family and teammates for a miracle.
