30 years ago today, the world lost Shannon Hoon. It’s hard to put into words what a loss like that leaves behind, the echo of friendship, of love, the soul, the laughter, the unfinished songs, the ones never written, and the ones left unsung. Even now, it still feels like the world truly missed out.
At the same time, I’m reminded that the people who change us never really leave. I’m forever grateful for the time we had, and for the music that still connects us all.
A few weeks ago, I took this photo of the full moon’s light shining through my skylight... It reminds me that love, like music, always finds a way to reach us. 🌙✨ by @jenakraus

Shannon would have been 58 today. I’m grateful for the time we shared, for the songs, the laughter, and the love that still ripples out. His spirit is forever woven into the music and into so many of us who will carry him in our hearts forever. ✨💛✨ by @jenakraus
