OUT NOW! 💖 A Christian pop/r&b song for the summer, but more importantly, one about walking in obedience to God and trusting Him even when we can’t see what lies ahead. 💛 I pray this song can serve as an encouragement, that even if we don’t know what’s unfolding, we can rest in what we do know — God is good and He is faithful forever.

You can stream it, save it, share it — “Mystery” is out now. Turn it up and sing it out! 🎧 Song link in bio!

OBLITERATE IS OUT NOW! 💖🎶 I’ve been so excited to share this song with you and now it’s here! Inspired by Psalm 139:23-24, this song is a prayer for wholehearted devotion and purity of heart, asking God to remove anything in our lives that is a hindrance to our relationship with Him.

I’m a big fan of Y2K music. Creating a project around the sounds of this era, which was my youth, has been so much fun. The biggest thank you to the incredible team that brought the vision to life!

I pray this song serves as an encouragement to you in your walk with God and creates a space for you to meet with Him. And I hope it provides a little nostalgic fun too. 😊

Stream now wherever you listen to music!

Hi friends! 👋 I’ve been a little quiet on here (with the exception of all my plane posting! ) So I just wanted to drop in and say hello! Happy Autumn! I LOVE this time of year. And something about drinking coffee feels so much more cozy (which is why I am drinking it at 6:30pm!)

More music is coming — it’s been just a bit of a slower season for me. As you know, we all have life on the other side of this screen, and for me, this season has included a lot of change and lots of seeking the Lord for what’s next when it comes to certain areas of my life. And naturally, it’s shifted some of my focus as I recalibrate. God is so faithful and there’s been a lot of beauty that’s come from this season.

How are you doing? Feel free to drop a hello in the comments below! Hope you’re doing well.

I snapped this picture at 6:30am Eastern Time on July 18, 2000 at the gate before boarding what I’m pretty sure was my flight from IAD to LAX — a 767 with a tail number of N317AA. I tried for several hours to identify what my flight number would have been for this aircraft. I can’t say definitively, as a 757 normally flew this route, but it’s plausible that this was flight AA 77. I can’t find any other morning flight that departed Dulles heading to Los Angeles that summer. Regardless, I share this photo in memoriam. 💛

While it was a normal morning in 2000, fourteen months later it looked different. Flight 77, tail number N644AA, was crashed into the Pentagon.

It’s one of the closest pieces of physical remembrance I have to September 11th, but I remember the day well in my heart. I was in 8th grade, getting ready for a Tuesday morning at school. I awoke to news coverage in my living room of events unfolding in real time. I remember continuing to watch coverage from a classroom tv. And I remember later that day crying, heavy-hearted, as I grasped the magnitude of what had happened.

Today, I share both to remember and honor the lives of the passengers, crew members, those who worked in the World Trade Center, those near and around the surrounding area, and the first responders who tragically lost their lives. I share to honor those who heroically saved lives. I share to grieve with and honor the families who are forever altered by the loss of their loved ones.

I’ll never forget, and today I pause to remember, reflect, and pray. Lord, be near.

Some moments are to be kept,
like a secret between you and God,
where sharing would feel like lessening it.

How can you fully translate its impact
in just 2,200 characters?
How can it be assessed by a hollow algorithm
empty of empathy?

Not all eyes will understand the weight of it —
how it marked your heart, perhaps even changed you.

Some moments are best left inscribed
solely on your heart —
like a journal entry you return to,
like a scrapbook you turn through
where you remember His kindness and goodness.

A post can never measure significance,
and value isn’t determined by a moment’s bigness or simpleness, or whether or not you shared it.

Here’s your permission to just be present in moments and experience life as God unfolds it. 💛

Just some thoughts 😊

The world says the more time goes on, the more you should have things figured out. In Christ, I’m experiencing it’s the more you grow in surrender and laying down the need to know.

I’ve let go of the 5 year plan in exchange for letting God chart the path.

A new season is approaching, and for some of us, we’re on the cusp of some new beginnings. For some of us, we’re looking at chapters coming to an end. For some of us, we’ve known this moment was coming. For some of us, it’s been unexpected. The question arises: what’s next? It stirs up a lot of thoughts and emotions.

We may not know what’s next, but we do know the trustworthiness of God. Some encouragement for the day: In the moments where uncertainty seeks to steal your emotions, draw from your history with God. You’ve seen His faithfulness — He will be faithful still.

Stay soft-hearted. Though challenging at times, there’s beauty in the change. 💛

POV: You unencumber your heart from fear and find true joy in trusting God. 💖

I threw together a little Y2K inspired music video for “Mystery” playing off of the days of making self-made home music videos (which is what I did in my free time as a youth!) Join me on my YouTube channel this Friday (7/24) for the premiere!
