Some houses are divided by politics… ours are divided by FOOTBALL! 😂🏈

These two JenBlackatcha designs were created especially for a house divided. ❤️💛🖤🤍

We know who they are, and we know exactly where their loyalty lies! Today, it’s 49ers vs. Raiders, so there’s only one question left…

WHO ARE YOU RIDING WITH?! 🏈

May the best team win… and may everyone still be speaking to each other by halftime! 😂

Pickleball people… you know what a DINK is. 😉🏓

And if you don’t, let me introduce you to one of pickleball’s most important little moves!

A dink is a soft, controlled shot that lands in your opponent’s non-volley zone, also known as “the kitchen.” It’s not about power. It’s about placement, patience, and making your opponent work for that next shot.

So naturally… it needed its own pen. 😍

These pickleball pens are a little nod to the game, the lingo, and everyone who knows that sometimes the best move is to just dink it.

Be Brave 🌻👗🖤

A little reminder you can carry with you, clip to your badge, or take wherever the day leads.

This custom set pairs a beaded pen, badge reel, and bag charm in bold black, sunny yellow, and turquoise, because sometimes a little color is exactly what you need when you’re doing brave things.

And of course, there’s a little JenBlackatcha signature tucked into the design: the bow accent. Because being brave doesn’t mean leaving your personality at the door. 🎀

✨ FLASHBACK FRIDAY ✨

Five years ago, I was making this woodland nursery set for my great-niece, Oaklynn: a coordinating wreath, diaper cake, and framed scrapbook-style ultrasound keepsake. 🦌🤎

And now? Oaklynn started KINDERGARTEN this week. Excuse me while I go stare dramatically into the distance for a minute. 😂

Looking back at this project also reminds me how much my creative style has evolved. These days, you’ll usually find me creating trucker caps, beaded pens, and other handmade pieces, but I still see the same creative energy in all of it.

Whether I’m layering scrapbook paper, ribbon and embellishments or building a hat with patches and details, I love taking a bunch of little pieces and turning them into something personal. Different canvas, same creative brain. 🤎

Five years later, this one still makes me smile. And apparently, time has absolutely no respect for my feelings. 😂

🐝 A little buzz of appreciation, headed to Riverside, California! 💛

This bee-themed gift set was curated for a friend who wanted to welcome her colleagues back to school with something thoughtful and personal: a beaded white pen, coordinating badge reel, black pen, and matching bag charm.

Because sometimes the sweetest way to say “I appreciate you” is with a little something handmade just for you. 🐝✨

Sometimes the best hats tell someone’s story. 🤍

My sweet friend Susan reached out and asked if I could create a one-of-a-kind hat for her sister, who is retiring after 33 incredible years as a librarian. What an honor to help celebrate a career spent opening books, inspiring imaginations, and changing lives, one reader at a time.

Every patch was chosen with love, including the adorable book-loving cat that steals the show. 📚🐈

Congratulations on your retirement! May your next chapter be every bit as beautiful as the legacy you’ve written over the past 33 years.

If you have a special person to celebrate, text me! I’d love to help bring their story to life, one custom hat at a time.

When my friend Karen, who I’ve known for years, reached out and told me her sister was celebrating her 80th birthday and loved the Chiefs, my heart lit up. What an honor to create something for such a meaningful milestone.

Months ago, while Christmas shopping with my brother, I picked up this Chiefs patch. I didn’t have a customer in mind. I just felt like I should get it. It sat quietly with my collection of donated supplies, waiting.

Now I know why.

One of the sweetest parts of this creative journey has been watching God connect the dots long before I can see the picture. So many of my supplies have been donated, and over and over again, the right person comes along at just the right time. It’s a beautiful reminder that God is never caught by surprise. He knows the recipient before I even know the project.

This hat isn’t just a birthday gift. It’s a reminder to me that God is in the details. Sometimes He places exactly what we need in our hands long before we know why, and then, at just the right moment, He reveals the purpose.

Happy 80th Birthday to Barb! I pray this hat brings smiles, celebrates a life well lived, and reminds you how loved you are.

❤️🏈
