Happiest birthday to my girl- Josie!!! She’s 21, and as I sit back reflecting over the last 21 years I remember being so excited and somewhat in disbelief that I was actually going to have a little girl. Fast forward and I’m so glad I get to be her Mom! Josie has been such an easy, no drama, go get em girl to raise. She is head strong, has her own ideas, loyal, a wonderful daughter, sister and friend, so accepting of all, genuine, crazy creative and a talented dancer, so very smart, knows who she is and loves the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all her heart. She draws people in with her light and love, and always shares how she feels. She’s such a hard worker, a family girl, and to know her is to love her! I’m excited for this next year as she dives into school, her new calling, work, dance and travel (manifesting this for us) to see her continue to rise up, grow and continue to be her best self! Happy 23rd Birthday Kaden! As I look over this last year, you have had so much change and growth- and I couldn’t be happier and more proud of you for the life you continue to create. In the last 12 months, you’ve gotten engaged, graduated college, best baseball year yet, gone through the temple, changed universities, bought yourself a car, worked helping kids improve their baseball abilities, showed up to all family functions you can, and have continually improved yourself in many other aspects - so many things and through it all- you’ve handled it quite well! Like I said- it’s been an honor to be on the sidelines of your life as your Mom! Now go have yourself a weekend and have fun! At the end of the day- just remember who you are and who you represent! May 1, 2026. Kaden Carpenter, Bachelor of Science in Stragic Communications. A promise made, A promise kept. Kaden, this day was earned, not given and I am so proud of you for the hard work you put in as a Student-Athlete. It has been a long 4 years in the making, you promised me the day you decided to go to college that you would graduate, regardless, and you sure did. I know it hasn’t always been fun or easy, and maybe C’s do get degrees😂😂😂 but you showed up and never quit. I am very proud of the person you are, the man you’ve become and can’t wait to see what is next! And who would have thought that my cute, naughty, big, little speech impaired 3 year old, with almost a decade of speech therapy now has his degree in Strategic Communications, loves to speak in front of people and will make a living doing what he loves! I am so grateful that Josie is sharing her love of dance while she is on her mission in Alaska! It’s moments like these that stop me in my tracks. When Josie called to share her exciting news with our family over FaceTime that she was going to serve a mission back in Feb 2024, we were completely shocked. That wasn’t in her plans or what we thought she should do. However, as I watch this video, hear her love for her Savior, his Gospel, the way she shares her talents and is able to bring others together- it’s exactly where she should and needs to be. My heart is full! I am so grateful for all those who got her to this point and continually love and support her! Her family, friends, The Dance Club, other dance teachers, MMC dance and college friends…. 26! I can hardly believe it! Happiest birthday Colton! You have always been one to lighten up a room, make us laugh and keep us on our toes! I am always grateful for your awareness, thoughtfulness and love that you bring to me and everyone around you. I am so proud of who you are, how hard you work, the best brother and great friend you are. You speak your mind, you are honest and truthful, so smart and talented and crazy athletic! She’s 20!!! Happiest birthday Josie girl! I still can’t believe the baby of our fam is all grown up and living life to its fullest❤️ To know Josie, is to love her ❤️ This girl goes after what she wants, loves the Lord, stands true to who she is, is beautiful, talented and smart, draws people in, is a loyal and wonderful friend, has 2 brothers who adore her, and friends too numerous to count! hello beautiful people! This week’s email is going to be a little different I just wanted to come on here and share my appreciation for my mission and the love I have for this gospel and for my Savior, Jesus Christ🩷

This last week was honestly really hard, I was tired. It was hard to feel the spirit and it was hard to talk to people and my social battery felt empty. So naturally as I do, Ive been in a deep reflection mode. I want to share some of my recent thoughts with you all, my mission has truly changed my life. More specificially it has changed me. I dont mean for any of this to sound corny but The Gospel of Jesus Christ really is transformational and I have seen that transformation in myself. Before my mission I felt like I knew very little about the gospel. I felt a prompting from the spirit to serve and I followed it but I really didnt know why and I was honestly scared. Leaving new york and leaving home was one of the hardest things ive decided to do. But the further I get on my mission the more I learn, appreciate and have come to know who Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are to me.
I would be lying if I said there wasn’t times I thought about coming home, because there has been honestly quite a few, but no matter how hard it gets my Savior has picked me up and has carried me until I feel strong enough to walk beside him. I know JESUS is the CHRIST and that HE LIVES . I know that he and Heavenly Father are in constant pursuit of every single one of us. I know that no matter how hard life feels there is a special light, a special love and SO MUCH JOY that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. I have found more joy learning his teachings, his doctrine and his gospel than I ever thought I’d be able to.

Feb.12, 2019- Jan. 11 2025

I’ve put off sharing about our sweet pup Astro because I miss him and it hurts 💔 This weekend we went down to Toquerville to spend time with the parentals, do projects and declutter. The pups were outside playing Saturday morning, running around and having fun. In true Astro form, he had to go exploring and be adventurous. He went down the lane, and was sadly hit by a vehicle on the main road. Bry and Steve buried him in the back of the farm next to Millie their cat. It was a very sad day, he was our little parkour puppy! He loved to jump around and on everything, he loved to snuggle, have belly rubs, howl, and he’d whimper in the car if you didn’t let him sit on your lap 🥺 He would taunt and tease Coach by pulling on his ears and always bit Bear on the back of his legs. He was just happy and fun! He loved to put his front paws on Brys leg when Bry would eat on the couch and inch his way towards him in hope of being fed ☺️ He was kind of Colton’s pup, and they were crazy to each other. We will all miss him dearly- it hasn’t been the same around our house as his 2 brothers have been looking for him 😭 He was the best and nicest of all 3 dogs. He had to have an extendable leash to wander off and explore- and think he was the Alpha 😂 He was super patient, loving, and just joyous❤️ Astro- we love ya buddy! by @jencarpenter___

Merry Christmas Family and Friends!

My hope was to get Christmas cards out this year, however life snuck up on me and I prioritized other things… so here are a few moments to share. We have had quite the year with moving (again), church, work, travel, kids, and many highs of highs and lows of lows. We are so blessed to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our life to remember our purpose and who we are- I couldn’t be more grateful! by @jencarpenter___
