Last day in my 30s

It’s wild to think about how many lives I’ve lived in the last 10 years

How many people I loved and how many I lost

The places I have lived and the places I have visited

My jobs were (are) a seemingly random collective, but they have all made sense in each season

I loved my 30s in all the crazy extremes

I hear your 40s are even better

I am so excited and curious to see what comes next, because honestly, I have no idea. Sometimes that’s scary, but mostly it’s felt invigorating lately

Thank you for the lessons, the adventures and all of the love this past decade, here’s to whatever is next 🥂

People always ask me how this whole thing got started.

There was no forethought, no plans. Pure impulse.

I saw a 1983 golf cart on Facebook marketplace (which I generally don’t use) and immediately thought, “I should sell flowers out of that!”

I messaged the owner and said I can be there in an hour, called my sister to come over immediately so she could go with me and the rest is history.

Five months ago I posted about buying a golf cart to sell flowers out of and today I had a large corporate event and it all feels so surreal.

Today I am pausing to celebrate, because I am a big believer in celebrations and gratitude. Also, I have been freaking out more - so balance, right?

A week ago I wanted to quit

The internal loop of “enough” was playing - doing enough, being enough, creating enough

And I decided I could just walk away

Sell the cart, get a job, do the “thing”

Instead, the universe nudged (assaulted) me - an influencer found me, I got a corporate contract, sold out my stand and I had the most fun creating and executing my event today

Starting a business with a tangible, perishable product was never on my radar

Sharing my creative artistic side was never something I considered, especially as a business venture

And yet here I am, exactly where I am supposed to be, doing something that is exciting, scary and new

September is booking up so regardless of my spirals. I cannot quit for at least another month, but as much as I fight it, I know this is just the beginning of this crazy adventure

Thank you for the orders, the shares, the referrals - this business has been built on word of mouth (and social media) and I could not be more grateful for all the support I have received 🫶🏽 by @jencha5280
