Jonny’s mission with BookBurn is to create a safe space for Queer people where we can pregame, read, party, and give opportunities to performers who don’t often get them, that really resonated with me! There are countless performers who deserve the spotlight, and this show is made to give everyone a chance to shine!-“Do I have to perform in Drag?NO! We highly encourage you dress to impress, but you can perform anything you want! Whether that be Drag, Singing, Dancing, A Monologue, Slam Poetry, or Competitive yo-yo-ing, we’re here to help you show off what you study! (Keep Mixes under 5 minutes.)-“How do I sign up for Open Mic?”EVERY MONDAY AT 2PM, the @jendastudies instagram page will make a Story where you can submit your name in a google form. THE JENDA ENVY MERCH COLLECTION <3by yours truly 🩷✨Merch has been something I’ve wanted to do for a LONG time, but I wanted to make sure that when I finally dropped something, I did it right. THANK YOU SO MUCH <3 !! Jenda Studies was recently nominated for Best Local Drag Event for Orlando Weekly!! We couldn’t be any more appreciative to be nominated, but more importantly we couldn’t be more appreciative of the students who make this study happen! The whole @officialbookburn team and I put so much effort into lesson planning and to have everyone put so much energy and talent and care into this show just blows me away!
