Newest batch of skull pumpkins . Let me explain a bit why? So I’ve been an X-ray tech for over 42 years and look at “ images of bones” all day. (Next month is National Rad Tech month by the way). These are formed from A white porcelain clay, textured, and then hand molded into a 3d shape. ( hollow inside). After bisque firing I add a black underglaze and then wipe back the excess color to reveal the face underneath. As I’ve worked.. I always think about how underneath the surface each person is the same. This years I decided to add a gold stem. Recently delivered for sale at Artful Nest in Marietta by @jendillersigman
