I can’t even put into words how beautiful this experience was. The culture, the energy, the pride, the celebration, the LOVE! There is truly nothing like FAMU Homecoming! 🧡💚

20 years a Rattler, and the love I have for this university only grows deeper. Some things you just have to experience to understand.

Oh, FAMU… I love thee! 🐍💚🧡

Humbled and grateful to be named a Florida A&M University 40 Under 40 honoree, Class of 2026. 🐍🧡💚

FAMU shaped who I am. I walked on to the football team and earned a scholarship while majoring in mechanical engineering. Those years taught me how much hard work truly pays off when you refuse to quit and with family support. Pledging the Upsilon Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. taught me perseverance and uplift, and to lift as I climb.

Those lessons guided me as I matriculated through my career in commercial real estate with humbleness and pride, and ultimately led me to start KMT Partners, the only African American-owned industrial real estate development and investment platform in the country. The firm now has nearly $1B in AUM.

This recognition isn’t mine alone. Thank you to my wife and family for their sacrifice and support, to my mentors who opened doors, to my brothers of Upsilon Psi, and to the partners and team who believe in what we’re building. To the young people I coach and mentor: this is proof that the path is real.

I look forward to celebrating with my fellow honorees on October 22. Congratulations to the entire class, and thank you to the FAMU National Alumni Association for this honor.

Excellence with Caring. 🐾

Today, I closed a chapter of my life that I didn’t realize had such a huge impact on my adulthood. ❤️

Six years is a long time, and I’m so proud of myself for staying consistent, disciplined, and committed. What started as a class became so much more… it became my routine, my outlet, and honestly one of my greatest stress relievers.

Today was my LAST CLASS, and whew… this one is emotional. 😭 by @jenee.milan
