Milan and Pavia. I walked over 11 miles today. I also had some of the best risotto I have ever tasted and bought a copy of Pride and Prejudice in Italian. I have loved Italy and can’t wait to come back. Off to my old stomping grounds in Zurich tomorrow, where I have not been since I lived there in the summer of 1991. So blessed to live this life. 💖 taken in Pavia, Italy by @jenellen1214

If you don’t have a print copy, you should probably get one.

The government removed, and then put back, a few key sections of our country’s most sacred legal document as it appears on Congress’s website this week, blaming it on a ‘“coding error.”

This was in the news a lot today, but I noticed it yesterday while I was working on a book editing project.

Since I left full-time library work in 2022, I have had my own business as a freelance editor and indexer. One of my clients just published her book! I loved this project - since I edited the manuscript and wrote the index I got to read it twice! Dorothy Kenyon was one badass woman lawyer and I am so glad there is finally a biography about her.

Congrats to my client Jenn!

PS - if you are curious about my editing business, check out my website - https://www.manuscript-spa.com - this is a link in my bio.

You can be doing the most mundane thing, like taking out the trash, and then the beauty of the sky can stop you in your tracks.

A nor’easter is on its way to us, and it’s announcing its entrance in a spectacular way. I do love living my adult life in a place with weather.

One of the most fun things about going to a great concert is seeing what song is going through your mind on repeat the next day. For me it has been Analog Kid, a song I have not listened to in a long time. They had a gorgeous video playing during it - I was too busy enjoying it to get any pictures then. But here are a few more from an epic night at @tdgarden. Thank you, @rush, for such a wonderful time! @geddyimages @anika.nilles @thereallerxst taken in TD Garden, Boston by @jenellen1214

Intermission at the Rush show. I couldn’t stop crying during the first two songs. Anika is absolutely killing it for all of us. If there has been a more badass display of girl power in the history of rock music, I can’t think of what it might be. I have loved every single second. ❤️ @rush @anika.nilles by @jenellen1214

Recently, I’ve been trying to cook and bake more. My Instagram feed seems to know this and has been showing a lot of cooking videos lately. Tonight I made a chicken pot pie casserole with crescent rolls as the top and bottom crust. I saw a couple of people make this and decided to try it for myself. It was very yummy and there are leftovers for the next few days. #cooking #domesticity by @jenellen1214
