been a crazy 2 weeks for me & honestly, i wouldnt have survived 18 hour days without @lyradrinks 💜

if y’all know me, i HATE any energy drink bc of how artificial it tastes… but i dare say the sparkling apple Lyra changed my mind 🍎 it tastes a little bit like Fuji apple (iyky) but at only 8kcal!!!!

which is crazy bc i actually feel energised without getting the typical sugar or caffeine crash that comes from coffee or sweet drinks 🤯

if u wanna try an energy drink or coffee alternative, lyra is definitely ur girl to hit up - u can head to their website to purchase. 🛒

i am so embarrassed to be saying this but it’s been almost 2 months since i posted for this series so here is an update to my 25 dates series 🥴 thanks to everyone who has personally messaged me to check in on this series (& me 🥹) - i think i am finally getting the hang of life (??)

belated thank you to @zelleee.png & @scentopia_singapore for the lovely invite to create custom perfumes at a time of my life where i felt super lost 💗

we r at date 15/25 & there r now 10 more dates to go!!!! waaaa idk any activities to do after 6pm, especially since i am a little time poor right now </3

if you’re another time-poor girlie working a 9-6, have multiple passions and not enough time to pursue all that, this is the page for you <3 i am going to prove myself wrong - and i hope this motivates anyone who feels the same!!!

date 14/25 brings me to…

the rare day i wake up at 6.45am to get out of my house by 7.30… just to go take a hot girl walk and touch grass 🌱

we r finally here at bukit gombak… to see little guilin!!

it’s been on my list for the longest time !!! because i haven’t been back to guilin/guizhou (where my mum is from) since pre-covid, making the time to go here meant a lot to me 🥹

I haven’t seen any videos or pics of it lol bc I wanna see if it really looked like the scenery back in my mum’s old house soooooo

honestly, i was surprised at how “tall” the hill was?? i expected something less bc it didn’t seem like singapore naturally had landscapes like that 😗

it didn’t look exactly like guilin’s rolling limestone hills but i can see some resemblance and could see why people would call it the mini version of the real thing 🗻

just seeing it made me nostalgic for a bit… i stared at it for a solid 5 minutes while sitting down on a sheltered bench 🥹🥹

so many pretty flowers and plants spotted 🪷 + wild jene running around bc i am so happy to be surrounded in peaceful nature 🧚🏻‍♀️

as i walked around the park, i felt myself noticing the solace that nature had to offer:
🕊️ bird songs that I never heard because I didn’t live near a park
☀️ warm golden sun on my face in the morning that i don’t wake up early enough to feel
🌬️ a cool breeze that brought the smell of blooming blossoms to my nose

the fact that i am able to slow down and soak in the calm vibes was the most rejuvenating part of this date 🌳

date 13/25 👖 & we officially went to jb to… thrift???? 👀

@jalanjalanjapanmalaysia has been on my list since forever and i decided to spend 2h on commute to go to their kip mall outlet to try my luck!

date 12/25 & we r officially mid way!!!!! 😝🌱

If there’s one thing I learnt from @glowfestivalsg ... it’s that wellness doesn’t HAVE to look like green juice and waking up at 5am 🤭

It can also look like trying a fitness concert for the first time (thanks @runningmanfan8 & @tyenrasif for the lovely music!!), making something with your hands, vibing to awesome musicians like @daya @jasonderulo @layyimusic, and going home feeling a little lighter than when you first arrived 🙏🏻

A few things I’d recommend if you’re planning to go next year:
🌿 Arrive early to the festival to queue up for your classes—they fill up FAST 💨
🎨 Leave some time to wander around the festival grounds and try the fringe activities.
🧊 And if the Recharge Bay is the same next year, you need to give the ice baths and TCM massages a go (try them for me!) 😜

I came to @guardiansg Wellness Fiesta thinking I’d just try the AI Skin & Scalp Assessment...

date 11/25 felt like a trip down a memory lane 🥹 never knew that for most of my life, i was never alone… EVER!!!

she used to be my sparring buddy and enemy, but now i CANNOT imagine my life without her in it 🤓 (this is why i have separation anxiety & codependency issues…)

my sister, who never actually left my side, is honestly the reason why i am able to continue being so optimistic and excited for what is to come post-job loss… i am happy i never got to experience a childhood ALONE 🩵

date 10/25 🧑🏻‍💻 of 25 dates (we are 30 days to my 25th wtf)

and we are going for my FIRST IN-PERSON INTERVIEW since 2024… SO NERVE WRECKING 😭😭😭😭

i hope this one works out because i have been ghosted 2x already even after i have completed the final rounds for both of them… 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
