One year ago, I made the heartfelt decision to fully say 'yes' to Jesus Christ. Despite being baptized for years, I hadn't truly surrendered my heart. Life, university, and the pursuit of the next big thing often swept me up, distracting me from what truly matters. But one day, I realized that nothing else could bring me genuine peace except Jesus. I chose to leave behind everything my career and the life I once dreamed of and stepped into my true purpose. This past year of full surrender to God has been a journey of discovery and grace. If you're searching for peace and a sense of identity, I encourage you to seek Jesus Christ. Nothing compares to the joy of surrendering to the King of all Kings- Jesus by @jenieve.jr

An entire day well spent in the house of the Lord, giving thanks, celebrating service, and embracing our Jamaican heritage! 🇯🇲🙏🏽❤️

Stop #1: We celebrated our Heritage Thanksgiving Service, where the message of the ceremony, drawn from the Book of Psalms, reminded us of how David looked to the Lord for strength. A beautiful reminder that, even as we celebrate our heritage, our strength and gratitude must remain rooted in God.

Stop #2: I had the honour of fellowshipping with the Victoria Church of God at their appreciation service, celebrating members who have dedicated 10 years of service. I was grateful for the opportunity to encourage and share with the awardees, reflecting on the call of Jesus to serve and the importance of serving with excellence, humility, and love.

For me, there is something deeply fulfilling about being able to serve in different capacities and make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others. My prayer is simple: Lord, may I never leave behind an unfinished task or fail to fulfil the purpose You have entrusted to me. May I always have a willing heart and the strength to serve wherever You call me.

“Glenmuir proud: Honoring our rich legacy and making your mark.”
Celebrating 68 years of incredible greatness and resilience and celebrating my home and my family- Glenmuir. It was an exhilarating feeling being back, reuniting with teachers, staff, students, and walking through corridors filled with excellence and profound memories. This institution shaped me profoundly, and its core values still inspire me today... I can still hear the inspiring words, “We are polished students.” I will forever be Glenmuir proud... Five years ago, I received the prestigious Milburn Corrie Scholarship through JCCUL. Fast forward to now, I have had the privilege of returning to share my experience and how that scholarship has impacted my journey. The Credit Unions of Jamaica are more than just financial institutions; they are a family dedicated to creating opportunities and giving back.

Remembering when I was in Grade 7 and how much I was still learning about who I was and who I wanted to become. Now, having the opportunity to pour into young girls at that same stage is truly special. Here’s to empowering them to believe in themselves, know their worth, and dream boldly.

The legend, Bob Marley. 🇯🇲

Sold out his show with only ONE flyer! It goes to show that your gift truly makes room for you.

This tour was so much more than learning about Bob the musician. I learned about Bob the football player, the model, the optimist, the spiritual man who kept his Bible on his bedside, the visionary who defied societal boxes and chose to live on Hope Road.

I also learned about Bob the community and ecosystem builder, who valued his people so much that he took his entire team and instruments with him for a show.

Whew! What a legacy. What an education. What a reminder that when you walk boldly in your gift, your impact can extend far beyond you.

To the team at the Bob Marley Museum and the Bob Marley Foundation, thank you for continuing to preserve, educate, and share the history and legacy of one of Jamaica’s greatest sons. 🇯🇲💚💛🖤

Ps:slide 5 : I saw aunty Julie-

My heart is overflowing with gratitude. What a privilege it has been to share this incredible journey with you.

To my family, friends, the JCDC team, my sponsors, my GHS family, my social media coordinators, my church family, every donor, the Clarendon JCDC team, my community of CowPen, and everyone who stood with me, thank you.

Whew! Pageantry takes grit, discipline, resilience, and unwavering faith. To my sister queens from every parish, congratulations. Continue to shine brightly as you embrace your reign and all that comes with it.

To my Abba Father, thank You for being my Shalom, my Jireh, my Nissi and El Roi. Thank You for guiding me every step of the way and sustaining me through it all.

To God be the glory for the great things He has done.

For such a time as this, He has called me. As I continue to pour myself out in service, I know He will remain faithful to replenish the JAR.

With love,

JenJen from Cowpen 🤍
