I’ve put off posting this difficult news for months. But with a shattered heart, I need to share that my little baby Gwen of 15 years crossed the rainbow bridge on January 13th.

One of the saddest truths about life is that the things bring us the most joy also leave us with the deepest sorrow. This is definitely one of those times.

The quiet house.
The missing happy greeting at the door.
The physical ache for her.
Her gaze. Her sweet doggy smell.

It’s hard to explain how much a tiny being can hold your whole heart, your history, your joy, your hardest moments, and your biggest laughs.

She was my constant - through chapters of life, love, loss, and everything in between. My soul dog.

Rest easy, sweet Gwenny. I can’t wait to see you and hold you again. I love you so much 🩷

FIFTEEN! My baby was born on Nov 8, 2009. She has been the love and light of my life ever since.
