Inktober Day 6: Ogre 💚
Small, green... well, gray, and slightly judging you.
Digital inks and grayscale on my iPad. What do you think he’s grumpy about? 👇

Inktober Day 5: Smack 🐾💥
The dog had it coming. Probably.
Every cat owner knows this exact moment: one paw, zero warning, total victory.
Ink brushes on iPad . Keep swiping for the Process video! Team cat or team dog? 👇

Inktober Day 2: Relic 🌙
A weathered statue from a forgotten myth, the kind of artifact you’d find in a dusty museum corner with a story nobody tells anymore. I loved drawing the cracks and wear that time leaves behind.

Finding time for this project can definitely be challenging between mom life, kids sports, teaching, and more- BUT it is so cool to finally see things coming together! Bottom line- life is crazy, but you’ve got this ❤️! #artistsofinsta #graphicnovel #webtoon #webcomic #puertorico by @jenisedraws

been working on something. meet him first. 🌿

This is Juan Roberto Pérez Colón. He’s 14, he lives in a mountain village in Puerto Rico, and he is constitutionally incapable of being afraid of anything. This is either his greatest strength or a problem. Probably both.

He’s the main character of my new YA graphic novel series — The Misadventures of Juan Bobo. Puerto Rican folklore, a supernatural community center, a chupacabra in the shed, and a parrot who has been trying to warn everyone since the beginning.

More characters coming soon. Follow @juanbobo.comic for series updates. 🌺

Continuing my little nostalgia spinner challenge—drawing one throwback cartoon at a time just for fun.

Today’s spin landed on Johnny Bravo, which is honestly one of the most ridiculous cartoons from that era.

Johnny had the confidence of a superhero and absolutely none of the self-awareness. Every episode was basically him failing spectacularly while still believing he was the coolest guy in the room.

It was dramatic, over-the-top, and completely chaotic… which is exactly why it worked.

Swipe to see the sketches, linework, flats, and final piece 💪

💬 Did you watch this one growing up? #SaturdayMorningSpin

Life’s been busy, but I finally spun the nostalgia wheel again.

Today’s pick: Recess ☀️🏫
A cartoon that made the playground feel like its own tiny universe.

Here’s my ode to one of the most relatable childhood shows ever.

Spun the nostalgia wheel and landed on Hey Arnold! 🏙️💛

Still one of my all-time favorites. Gentle, funny, emotional, and way deeper than it had any right to be.

Here’s my little ode to a show that trusted kids with big feelings.

Spun the nostalgia wheel and landed on Aaahh!!! Real Monsters 👹

Such a weird show, but I loved it—this one was my sister’s favorite, so it was always on in our house. Gross, chaotic, oddly wholesome.

Here’s my ode to the monsters that taught us it was okay to be strange.
