I want to start off by saying— I am so mad that it took me this long to finally enter this series and so happy I was pushed (let’s face it, forced) to finally read it. -I did and my heart thanks you!🫶🏼

What makes this series truly special is the characters. I loved every single one of them and the way their stories intertwine. The bonds, the loyalty, the heartbreak… it all feels so real. The love stories woven throughout are everything; fierce, healing, and hard-earned. Aelin and Rowan own my heart completely, Lorcan and Elide’s journey had me in a chokehold, and I will forever be a Chaol defender—his growth, his struggles, and his redemption will always matter to me. 💛

This series is a full emotional rollercoaster from quiet, tender moments to absolute devastation and triumph. It breaks you, heals you, and leaves a permanent mark. Truly one of those stories that stays with you long after the final page. It’s officially my Roman Empire (right after A Court of Silver Flames).

I have yet to recover and I don’t think I will.

Crescent City series review • @sarahjmaas

I am genuinely shocked by how much I ended up loving this series. It started as a bit of an adjustment with the modern setting, but once I was hooked, I was all in. SJM created a world full of action, heartbreak, friendship, and found family that kept me completely invested from beginning to end.

Hunt Athalar easily became one of my favorite SJM heroes (so underrated), and watching his relationship with Bryce grow throughout the series was everything. And Ruhn and Lidia? Absolutely stole my heart. Their love story was beautiful, emotional, and one of my favorite parts of the entire series.

What really made the journey so amazing, was the incredible side characters! Every character felt important, and the friendships, loyalty, and connections between them made the emotional moments hit even harder. This series made me laugh, cry, stress, and cheer—and I already miss this world and these characters. This series has become my second favorite series from the massverse, and I didn’t think it would.🥹

I FINALLY finished Threshing Day and absolutely loved it. —Rebecca, thank you for giving us this novella because I needed all of their POVs! I laughed, I cried, I swooned… and somehow I came out of this even more in love with Garrick. 🥹

Currently reading The Witch of Wolf Hollow and loving this ARC so far!

And I’m listening to Shield of Sparrows and I am OBSESSED. The story, the atmosphere… I’m completely hooked.

I’ve been a little MIA lately. Between vacations, work, and just… life, reading has been harder than usual. But most of all, losing my dog, my Mia girl🩷—my best friend, my baby, my whole heart—has made it really hard to pick up a book and escape the way I normally do.

Absolutely obsessed with my @thewonderwick order! 🥹

I finally added some of my favorites to my collection—Hunt, Rowan, Aelin, and Terrasen—and I’m completely in love! They’re the perfect additions to my little fantasy collection and look so beautiful alongside my babies, Cassian and Nesta. 🤍

The scents, details, and overall quality are amazing, and as a SJM girlie, having some of my favorite characters and places represented makes my bookish heart so happy. These Weston brothers somehow keep getting steamier, each in their own way, and Daddy Colson was no exception. 😮‍💨 This man knows exactly what he wants—in business and in the bedroom—and Sophie was the perfect woman to challenge him. Their chemistry was undeniable, but what I loved most was the tenderness beneath all that fire.

I absolutely loved that they were both single parents. Sophie completely stole the show for me. Her backstory, her dedication to her career, and the beautiful relationships she has with both her daughter and her brothers made her such a strong, relatable, and unforgettable FMC. She’s an absolute queen. ♥️

Marni Mann proves once again why she’s the spice queen, delivering another billionaire romance that perfectly balances sizzling chemistry with heartfelt emotion. I can’t believe this series is almost over—I am beyond excited to finally get Eden’s story! taken in BOOKSTA by @jenises_library

Catherine does it again. This story had everything I love—heart, suspense, healing, and characters you can’t help but root for.

Kol and Nova’s relationship was built on so much trust and understanding. They didn’t just fall in love—they became each other’s safe place, and watching them slowly break down the walls built by their pasts made every moment between them feel earned.

One of my favorite parts was the bond between Kol and Nova. It wasn’t just romantic—it was the quiet moments, the unwavering support, and the way they truly saw each other that made their connection so special.

I also adored Skylar’s relationship with Nova. Their bond added so much warmth to the story and reminded me that family isn’t always about blood—it’s about the people who choose you, protect you, and love you through everything.

Both Kol and Nova carried painful backstories that shaped who they were, and Catherine handled their healing with so much care. Their individual journeys were just as powerful as their romance, making their happily ever after feel all the more rewarding.

This was another beautifully emotional, edge-of-your-seat read with unforgettable characters, found and family and I thank you @teamcatherinecowles for allowing me to continue to be apart of this journey. 🥹💜

Book recs based on my birth chart? Say less🌙

It’s been way too long since I hopped on a trend (and let’s be honest... I’ve been a little MIA around here 😅), so this felt like the perfect way to make my return.

As someone who’s equally obsessed with books and astrology, this trend was basically made for me. The only thing that surprised me? How aggressively purple my birth chart is. 💜 Luckily, so many of my favorite books fit the vibe and my color palette, so I’m calling that a win.

June was filled with only @carleyfortune —these books were perfection in their own way. All 3 were five star reads for me.

💜Our Perfect Storm: infinity stars (favorite)
George is a top tier book boyfriend.
This may be my new favorite friends-to-lovers romance. The connection between George and Frankie felt so genuine, built on years of friendship, trust, and understanding that made every moment between them hit that much harder.

💛One Golden Summer: infinity stars
This book is the perfect mix of heart, healing, friendship, and romance, wrapped up in a beautiful summer setting that makes you wish you could stay there forever. I sobbed and laughed so much!

🧡Every Summer After: five stars

Jessica and her cowboy romances! Ryder was swoony, heartfelt friends-to-lovers romance with emotional connection and genuine character growth. I loved Ryder and Billie. Their relationship grows from a genuine friends-to-lovers dynamic, built on trust, loyalty, and years of understanding each other. Instead of feeling rushed, their bond develops naturally, making every romantic moment feel earned.

What I loved the most is how they support and challenge one another. Billie helps Ryder open up emotionally, while Ryder becomes a steady source of strength for her. Their mutual growth adds depth to the story, turning it into more than just a romance.

Ryder himself is the classic brooding hero, with a heart of gold. Billie is a wild card with her own inner battle of people pleasing. Their banter is fun and spicy and the family bonds is what truly made me fall for these two. I am sad so say goodbye to this series but I’m also excited for the Wallace bothers. I loved getting a glimpse of them in this book. 💜
