✨✨ Custom cabinetry work from a few years back. All white oak plywood builds with solid wood banding and a custom quartz top for the floating cabinet.

Clients are advent music collectors so they had to have the proper storage for their tapes. Love it.

Two reasons I love working in a co-op wood shop:

1. Access to tools I otherwise wouldn’t have.
2. Access to amazing woodworkers like @off_the_knife_woodworks that can show me how to properly use those tools.

We cut a segment of some original door casing in our house and sent it off to a blade maker. Then we ordered some reclaimed wood from @manayunktimber to match the original material in the house. Now we can mill our own casing for the new windows in our home. by @jenkinsnicolas

Kitchens are really fun to work with because of the balance between practicality and design aesthetic they require. Collaboration with someone who really understands that is key. This cramped low-ceiling kitchen felt detached from the rest of the home. Raising the ceiling (extensive plumbing necessary) and sourcing reclaimed pinewood boards for the floor made this old addition fit right in. Rearranging the layout and adding additional storage outside the kitchen made the room more functional as well. Working with natural materials and traditional designs were important to us on this project so it was exciting to work with @manayunktimber on these walnut countertops.

Part two of this project was the first floor bathroom / storage room. Once we brought the washer/ dryer to the second floor we were able to turn this back room into functional storage. Modifying ikea cabinets for additional depth and cutting a “cat hole” left ample space for utilities and kitty litter.

Adding a pocket door to the bathroom made the space more airy and allowed us to be very impactful with the design choices.

This might be the wildest transformation I’ve done to a room. We ripped out 4,000 pounds of tile, fixtures, and a broken jacuzzi tub then installed a washer / dryer + heated floors.

I think we were able to squeeze the everything the clients wanted into this bathroom while making it inviting and cozy.

Each project I take on involves trust and collaboration. For this project the client had a great relationship with the designer Alessandra, @cielophilly who in turn trusted me to build it. As the work got underway the design evolved, and having good communication was important. I think we are all quite happy with how this room came together. Gorgeous marble with a custom matching sink, reeded tile with terracotta grout, white oak cabinet fronts and floating shelves all turned this typical Philly row home kitchen into a show stopper. 📷 @brefurlong by @jenkinsnicolas

Shelves shelves shelves! What better way to show off all your cool books, objects and artwork than with floor to ceiling shelves in your living room? Solid ash wood finished in a cherry hard wax oil. by @jenkinsnicolas
