Now that is a line up! Quite possibly the most horses I have photographed together where they are all (well most) looking at the camera. Not an easy task, but it just lined up perfectly 🩶 special thanks for the @grta1914 for asking me to photograph their annual Summer Solstice ride, I will post more photos soon, but I thought this one needed its own space! taken in Greenwich, Connecticut by @jenlynnephoto

Feeling incredibly lucky and honored to have been part of this beautiful celebration for Zac and Michael.

As one of the few people who knew that this was actually going to be a wedding, I got to watch the surprise unfold as everyone realized what was really happening.

Just before the announcement, the smoke alarm went off in the kitchen and the fire trucks arrived. Definitely not part of the plan, but one of those unexpected moments that made the celebration even more memorable.

They were married on the stone patio where they got engaged, surrounded by the gardens they’ve created together. They grew dahlias specifically for the wedding, and their custom garden beds were overflowing with vegetables that were used in the food for the celebration. So much of what made it special came directly from their home and the life they’ve created together.

Everywhere you looked were little pieces of their personalities. From the amazing gardens, the cute little cherubs everywhere, their beautiful home, and even their kimono room.

Most of all, their kindness and genuine involvement in everything they create was so evident. Nothing felt overly planned or removed from who they are. It was personal, warm and completely them.

I am truly honored to have been trusted to photograph such a special celebration.

A few rainy days in the Hudson Valley with a friend, exploring little towns, beautiful old houses, good food, wine… and apparently every animal we passed. 🐐🐓🐈

One of my favorite things about traveling is noticing the places people call home - the architecture, outdoor spaces, restaurants, shops, and all the little details that give a place its personality.
Maybe that’s the photographer in me. Or the Realtor. Probably both. ☺️

A little secret, a little strategy, and a lot of love.

Rob and I planned the perfect timing, location, and most importantly, my hiding spot in the bushes. Camera ready, I waited for the moment he got down on one knee.

Watching it all unfold from behind my camera was such a special moment, especially knowing Rob and Kailey are both photographers who usually spend their time behind the camera.

It was a gorgeous intimate celebration, a breathtaking backdrop, and a day that felt every bit as special as the couple themselves.

What a beautiful day for the @grta1914 Summer Solstice ride!

There’s something really special about photographing a community brought together by a shared love of horses, and this event was full of exactly that. So many wonderful riders came out, the energy throughout the day. It was the kind of summer day that makes moments like these even more memorable.

Days like this remind me why I love capturing the connection between people, horses, and the communities built around them.
