HELLO BELL TENT 🏕️🤩

Unpacking and pitching it for the very first time at @tencreekholidaypark, we couldn’t wait to make it our home for the weekend.

Despite arriving during the “heatwave” (those roll-up sides are genius! ☀️), true Cornish weather had other ideas… ⛈️ We were treated to an incredible thunder and lightning storm on our very first night! Safe to say the tent had an unexpected test straight away… and it handled it brilliantly ☔️

One of the first things that struck us was just how much space there is inside. It made family camping feel so much more comfortable, with plenty of room for all four of us and our ever-growing collection of camping essentials.

I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve reached the stage of life where being able to stand up and move around properly inside a tent makes all the difference! 😂

The quality has really impressed us too. Everything feels incredibly well made, right down to the chunky, heavy-duty zips, which instantly give you confidence this tent is built for many adventures to come.

A huge thank you to @belltentsussex for this beautiful tent. We can’t wait to fill it with memories this summer and share plenty more camping adventures with you all. 🤍

SO… IS A BELL TENT WORTH IT? 🏕️

After a whole summer of putting ours to the test, over multiple trips away, it’s time to answer the most asked question….is it worth it?

Erm, YEAH! 👍

Easy enough to put up, loads of space for the four of us, actually comfortable to spend time in, incredible quality, and, most importantly, it’s made camping feel fun and easy again.

A LITTLE BOX OF CONFIDENCE 🤍✨

Big Sis sent me and Mollie their very first Confidence Club activity pack and I love the idea behind it.

An activity pack designed to help young girls build confidence, develop positive ways of thinking and create opportunities for those conversations that can sometimes be tricky to start.

Inside the first pack was a mix of activities, including arts & crafts, space for journaling, conversation prompts and things to get Mollie thinking about positive language, feelings, self-belief and all those little things that kids are trying to navigate as they grow up — but without it feeling like a big “sit down, we need to talk” moment 😂

Just little activities we can do together, or that Mollie can get stuck into on her own, which might naturally open up some of those conversations along the way.

Big Sis is a Plymouth-based initiative, which I particularly love being local to us, but the Confidence Club is available across the UK too, with free shipping. 🤍

And clearly Mollie has already decided it’s a keeper because she’s asked when the next one is coming 😂 The first issue is still available and the second issue is out in February 2027, with a new pack published four times a year.

AUTUMN? WE’RE STILL CAMPING 🍂🏕️

Just because summer’s over doesn’t mean the bell tent has to go away quite yet! 😂

We spent a weekend at Newberry Valley Park in North Devon and it was such a lovely base for an autumn family getaway — quiet, incredibly green and surrounded by countryside.

A few highlights:

🌿 Peaceful, green site with lots of space
🏕️ Premier pitches with grass + hardstanding, picnic bench, electric hook-up & your own water tap
🚿 Really good bath & shower facilities
🛝 Play park for the kids
🥾 Walking distance to the South West Coast Path
🌊 Easy access to Combe Martin village & beach
🔥 Chiminea hire — absolutely perfect for cosy evenings around the tent

And because we were in North Devon anyway, we also squeezed in:

🎃 Pumpkins at the Castle at Watermouth Castle — thousands of pumpkins, rides, activities, marshmallow toasting and loads more. Use PUMPKIN20 for a discount @watermouthcastle

Honestly, autumn camping might just be my new favourite. Quieter sites, crisp mornings, cosy evenings around the chiminea and still plenty of exploring to do. 🍂🤎

K-POP DEMON HUNTERS x YOGHURTS 🎤💜

A very exciting delivery landed this week courtesy of @gifta_uk… and the kids were VERY happy to discover a whole box of K-pop Demon Hunters themed Yoplait & Frubes! 😂

Obviously we couldn’t just eat them…

The yoghurt boxes came with activities and crafts on them too, so the kids got stuck into those before getting stuck into the important bit — eating the yoghurts! 😂

A pretty fun way to keep them entertained while getting a little crafty too, and super handy yoghurts for packed lunches ✏️🎒

Safe to say these have gone down very well in our house! 💜
