New wig, new hairstyle, very 90s iconic 🦋

Trying out this new GlamVigor @glamvigorwig hybrilla mix wig and I’m kinda obsessed with how cute this turned out.

Can anyone guess what concert I went to? 👀🩷

A casual impromptu video to show off my first ever @blbluxurylacewigs wig that I think is approx 3 years old.

It’s been complimented soooooo many times this week. I told one of my colleagues that I’d previously worked at an alopecia charity because ya know, I have alopecia, and she was honestly dumbfounded and didn’t believe me. This was with a wig that is years old!

We often obsess over the little details when wearing wigs, or at least I do, but this just shows that people really don’t notice the little things.

We can spend so much time worrying about the hairline, the parting, the density, whether it looks “wiggy” or whatever else, meanwhile people are just seeing nice hair and giving you compliments.

I also think it’s pretty cool to show a wig further on in its life, after plenty of wear, washes and just living in it, rather than always straight out of the box perfect.

Anyway, enjoy my little Friday night natter 😂❤️

The natural daylight test… PASSED with flying colours! ☀️✨

We previously shared the lovely Jen (@jenn.daviess) wearing our 'Alice' Wig indoors, but we just HAD to post these close-up snaps in full daylight!

When you're living with hair loss, wearing a wig in direct sunlight—or worse, pulling the hair back into a half-up style—can feel intimidating. But just take a look at Jenn's hairline here! 🤯👇

🔍 Zero Visible Edges: Get as close as you like—the lace melts so seamlessly into the skin that it’s 100% undetectable.
👑 Styling Freedom: Because the hairline is pre-plucked and soft, you have full freedom to throw it into a half-up ponytail or tuck it behind your ears without worrying about harsh grid lines or edges showing.
🌿 Unfiltered Realism: No special studio lights, no fancy editing—just pure, breezy, everyday confidence.

Jen looks so effortlessly radiant, and that genuine, belly-laugh smile says it all! 🤍

Drop a 🤍 in the comments if you love this seamless hairline! (Link in bio to shop the 'Alice' unit x).

✨ Alice, in all her glory... ✨

No filters. No ring light. Just natural daylight, straight out of the box. 🩷

Can we take a moment for that hairline... 😍 And the effortless ear tuck!

Alice is 16 inches with a lightweight 130% density, making her perfect for summer. With a 10x6 HD Swiss lace, pre cut lace and bleached knots, she feels incredibly natural and beginner friendly.

The best part? She's under £350, offering another beautiful human hair option at a more accessible price point. I know affordability is a huge consideration for so many people navigating hair loss, so it's lovely to see more choice on the market.

It's also My First Wig UK's 11th Anniversary Sale, with savings of up to £150, making now a brilliant time if you've been thinking about investing in a new piece. ✨️

These photos were taken in natural daylight, straight out of the box, before I'd worn her out anywhere, and I honestly couldn't stop smiling.

I think Alice might have just earned herself a permanent place in my wig collection. 🩷

If you'd like to take a closer look at Alice, comment below or check out the link in my bio.

Gifted for review. As always, all opinions are my own.

The standout feature? by @jenn.daviess

✨ Alice, Part 2 ✨

Okay... now I understand the hype. 😍

After showing you the unboxing in Part 1, it was finally time to meet Alice... and honestly, I wasn't prepared for just how much I'd love her.

This was my very first time trying her on, in natural daylight, with no styling beforehand.

Just a genuine first impression.

That hairline... 🤯

The colour, the softness, the movement... she feels so effortless to wear.

Alice is 16 inches, 130% density (which feels perfect for summer) and features a 10x6 HD Swiss lace, pre-cut lace and bleached knots, all those little details that help create such a natural finish.

And the best part? She comes in at under £350, making her such a great option if you're looking for alternative hair at a more accessible price point.

For me, it's the little details that make all the difference, and that natural hairline is definitely one of them. ✨

I have a feeling Alice is going to become a regular in my wig rotation. 🦱

What do you think? Is she giving effortless everyday hair? 👇

✨ Unboxing Alice ✨

I know everyone wants to see the wig, and don't worry, that's coming in Part 2 😍

But I wanted to show the real experience first, because as someone with alopecia, the little things matter.

Opening the box and finding a wig stand, accessories and all those thoughtful touches instantly made me feel like this wasn't just about selling hair. It felt like a company that had actually thought about what someone with hair loss might need.

Alice is 16 inches, 130% density and under £350, which feels incredibly affordable for the quality.

First impressions? I'm impressed. 💜

And if the unboxing was this exciting, just wait until you see my reaction when I put her on... 👀✨

Follow along for Part 2 because I may have found something special.

✨ Sneak peek at this beautiful wig from @myfirstwig_journey ✨

For full transparency I have been gifted this wig so I can share my honest thoughts, suggest improvements and work with the company to bring affordable wigs to fellow Hairloss Sisters.

I can't wait to share more about this beauty because first impressions... I'm SHOOK. 😍

The colour, the hairline, the movement... everything about her has completely exceeded my expectations.

This is just a little preview for now, but trust me, you'll be seeing a lot more of this one very soon. 🤍

Have you ever put on a wig and instantly known it was something special? 👀

Still can't get over this @lox_bylori wig 🥹✨

If little Jen could see what was available today, I genuinely don't think she'd believe it.
The effortless ear tuck. The hairline that blends so seamlessly. The fact I can literally pop it on and go.

Honestly, it makes me a bit emotional every time I wear it because for so many years I thought wigs were something I had to put up with, not something I could actually feel excited about.

This is Scarlett, a glueless lace front cap, 16 inches, 150% density... and she is an absolute dream 🎀

The confidence that comes from finding a wig that just works is hard to put into words, but if you've been there, you'll know exactly what I mean.

And the hairline? Unreal 👀

Scotland girls, we really don't know how lucky we are to have Lori on our doorstep ✨ But don't worry if you're further afield, she also offers online consultations, so nobody misses out on the magic. 💕

Didn’t even need to adjust this wig grip and it fit perfectly 👀

Not me being *obsessed* with a wig grip again.

Honestly, I’ll take a grip over glue or tape any day. Glue irritates my scalp and gets stuck in the lace, and tape is just too much faff for everyday.

Give me something I can pop on and go, with proper security, and I’m happy. 😍

Megan from @embracewigsiom asked me to try this new grip band and share my first impressions….. well safe to say I’m impressed.

It felt snug instantly, which never normally happens with my extra small head, so the fact this is petite and large cap friendly is a big win. It's super easy to adjust to your preferred size. 👏

First impression video to follow…
