Hey, welcome — I’m really glad you’re here. 🤍

I’m Jenn Brady, a singer and voice actor, and for most of my life I’ve shared emotion through music.

I started singing professionally at 13, studied jazz in college, and spent years performing, directing music, and coaching others in vocal health. Music was how I learned to feel out loud — how to hold space for nuance, vulnerability, and connection.

Voice acting came later, and unexpectedly. A friend once asked me to narrate an audiobook, and something clicked. Using someone else’s words — and pairing them with emotion — was deeply satisfying. It felt natural, intimate, and like coming home.

I realized I didn’t need my own story to tell. I could help someone else’s words be felt.

In 2025, I released four audiobooks and voiced commercials for schools and banks.

In 2026, that work has deepened: narrating a romantasy series (Book 2 of 5), an e-learning video for a cycling company, and stepping into audio drama, with one series booked and another in the works.

What matters most to me is how something feels on the other side of the speaker.

My 2026 audiobook roster is still open, and I’m excited to continue in narration, e-learning, and commercials.

If you’re looking for a voice rooted in emotion and connection, I’d love to be yours.

😱 Ahh!!! It’s finally out!! ✨✨✨

The latest Gothic romantasy audiobook I had the honor of producing and co-narrating now has its own ORIGINAL SCORE, written by the dashing @dylonwalbridge 🖤🎶

You can listen to it everywhere you listen to music.

When I first read and prepped this book, I felt like it needed something extra special.

🖤 I wanted listeners to have something they could hold onto and remember the story by even when they weren’t listening to the audiobook itself.

🖤 I wanted hardcover readers to have something they could listen to while reading! (And yes, I absolutely considered creating something that lasted about 20 hours… sorry. Didn’t happen. 😂 Maybe someone can make a playlist?)

🖤 But more importantly, I wanted to help set the feeling of this story, because it deals with some deeply traumatic topics. You need to be in the right headspace for this one.

This book isn’t about tropes or quick gratification. It follows a deaf woman who is granted incredibly powerful magic and confronts abuse not only as a deaf person, but as a woman. She uncovers abuse within a church system and fights to shatter it to the ground.

It is a DARK gothic romantasy.

And if you go into it expecting something lighthearted or easy, you’re going to be in for a very different experience.

So when I ran the idea of an original score by our Gothic fantasy queen @nmpeterson_author
she was ecstatic. 🖤

I asked Dylon if he would write something, just a small 30-60 second interlude to go with the different parts of the book. He said yes, but he wasn’t particularly jazzed about it at first. 😂

I gave him feeling descriptors and some context clues for the three parts. Then he actually started writing it… and got inspired. Suddenly, his whole heart went into it.

Also, Gothic romance is sooo his thing, so this is just another instance of me being right and knowing he would love it. 😏

🎧 Profaned is out now! Go listen to the audiobook, narrated by Jennifer Walbridge & Luke William Bromley, then give Dylon’s original score a listen, too.

Yes. No more thinking just get a ticket dude.
You’ll have serious FOMO.

This film was an absolute masterpiece. Epic fantasy. Script writing that meshes poetry and modern language that stays more neutral than you’d think (I was skeptical was I saw the trailer). The film was stunning. The effects were stunning. The actors were stunning. The way the story was told was stunning. Just go see it. You might see me in theater again- it was that good. Sorry- epic.
It was that epic.

Audiobook Character Hack

———

If you’re a narrator and you find it difficult to switch from one character voice to the next, this might be a good idea for you!

When I was just starting out last year with character voices, I found it quite difficult to find each voice as I was reading along. So I stopped trying to do it all at once and focused on one part at a time. By the time I got halfway through the book, I was able to switch back-and-forth between voices without doing this method.

This technique helped me early on and EVEN TODAY- hopefully it helps another narrator too! ✨☺️✨
