I'm so happy last year is behind us. I never want to experience 2025 ever again. My reading slipped this year due to everything but I still managed to read 114 books total. 28 books and 86 volumes of manga/manhwa. The series I included in this list are rated for the entire series/latest released volume. Now onto 2026! #thesummerhikarudied #mmromance #painterofthenight #potn #afterglow #fakefactlips #itsjustadreamright #manga #manhwa #blmanga #yaoi by @jenna_weasenforth
Finished a manga series to find out it wasn't the final volume of the series after all and that "final" volume was released in June of 2024... #wheresthenextvolume #iprayforthesweetreliefofdeath #ineedmymangafeeding #tashirokunwhyreyoulikethis by @jenna_weasenforth
It's taken me awhile to write this post, whether it be because I still don't want to face the reality or because I'm still so utterly devastated by it... but, our sweet and beautiful Kikko passed away on April 1 in our home while Eric and I surrounded her with the most love we could ever give to another soul. We have been so heartbroken since and are still trying to live day by day. Kikko was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma at the beginning of March. Not even a month after diagnosis she was gone... I feel so angry. She would have turned 10 on May 8th. I didn't get to see her turn gray. She was supposed to be here with me longer. Dogs aren't here long to begin with and her time was cut even shorter. She was the first to ever be truly all mine. I got to pick out what breed, sex, and name I wanted. Of course, Eric was there to help raise her and love her too but he let me choose everything for her on my own. Even though I didn't get enough time with her, I would still choose her over and over again. Every time. She was the best girl ever. She herded us when she was a puppy, kind of slowly grew out of it so she did it less and less, but she still did it with our cats (she was our enforcer when they would get yelled at) and her cousins, Aria and Ezlyn (who loved playing with each other - also great cause they all wore each other out!) She was my shadow. She followed me everywhere and never let me out of her sight. If I did, she would run around trying to find me. My bathroom breaks were never lonely with her. I never thought that I would hate using the bathroom by myself now. She loved going on walks and always loved when she would get to see Hermes. (Sarah Amos' German shepherd.) She loved short car rides and getting to stick her head out the window to take in all the different smells of the world. She loved ice cubes and would come running or begging when she would hear the ice maker. She also loved the cardboard center of paper towels. She was always so gentle with them until she would decide she needed to rip it into a million pieces on the floor. ...(Continued in comments) by @jenna_weasenforth

My goodies from #nycc! My highlight is getting an early copy of #semanticerror and getting it signed by the artist, @angykim.sketch !!! I'm also super excited to read Aggregate cause it's a choose your own adventure book! Picture 7 is all my freebies I got, minus a couple posters for an anime. :3 #nycc2024 #sololeveling #cryptids by @jenna_weasenforth
