I understand the hesitation for rescue. It’s hard. Extra hours extra vet visits. The unpredictable-ness of it all. But even if the journey was to just give a peaceful ending to a creature who has never known kindness, it was worth it. To grieve is just a reminder of the love we had. That’s so beautiful.

Gus, you can rest now. I’ll miss you buddy. by @jennapoore

A full week late birthday post! I have so much love in my heart for this life and I’m hoping more spontaneous trips and adventures follow me through this year. I’m going to keep becoming stronger and hotter and fucking whimsical so look out world!!!! by @jennapoore

Moved apartments, changed jobs (thank god), fell hard, got back up, lost a best friend, made new ones, did a LOT of rope therapy, found a new perspective, found hope, found joy, learning to lean into community.
Could it get worse? Possibly.
Will it get better? Surely.
