Over the years I've picked up on quite significant changes of pain tolerance with people being tattooed. I know from my own experience that getting tattooed or pierced around my period would hurt so much more, so I did some research. It turns out there is a reason for it. It might be worth planning your tattoo session around your cycle to reduce the pain.

It’s spooky season! I’ve been working on these for a few months now, and I am so excited to finally release them!

This is a style I’m really looking to lean into, black and grey realism mashups paired with bold traditional elements or sparkly pops. I think the contrast makes for a seriously cool tattoo.

I know I don’t have a ton of realism currently sitting in my portfolio, and trusting an artist to tackle a portrait without seeing it on skin first is a big leap of faith.

For complete transparency, I’ve done a handful of realism pieces on skin and fake skin, but I fell in love the process and I would really like to do more.
