Supergirl - This one was a real beauty to apply with my Makeup and Prosthetics partner @chris_mufx - 7 prosthetic appliances and a lot of hair to get into a baldcap! And a Beautiful crown to be applied over the top of it all. During the fitting Peter our makeup Designer wanted to change the colour from Blu’s to steeley greys and purples. Supergirl - LoVed applying these super delicate pieces with my makeup and prosthetics partner @jo.grover.fx - 3 appliances very delicately applied and blended into the skin for the fitting. Jo applied this on her own and looked after this character on set during filming. Supergirl - This Character came with challenges. 5 overlapping prosthetic appliances, raised wire and plastic tubing inserts to be applied into the prosthetics, on application we had no idea if they would stay uprights or lean sideways, thankfully they stayed upright and with a bit of ingenuity in the placement and anchorage underneath the prosthetic they managed to stay put. This one was a joy to apply with my prosthetic and makeup partner @chris_mufx. Our designer decided that the blue colour needed to be changed as there were too many blue characters in the film already so I later came up with an alternative colour scheme that would be used in the film - Another character to follow later… Designer @peterswordsking Prosthetics Designer @kristyan_mallett Crowd Supervisor Emma Bailey @baileydonald68 sculpted by @natesangerdavies and @evillittlethingx prepaint @alicewillardsfx taken in Warner Bros. This was an incredible journey to be a part of. SoOo much creativity involved in this from sculpting, moulding, running silicone, Painting, testing testing testing, wigs, makeup, hairstyling Fittings after Fittings soOo many amazingly talented crew!
