There are rooms I revisit in my memory, spaces where the work stays with me long after I’ve left. One of them is at the Guggenheim. I can still picture the light, the scale, the feeling of standing there. Some paintings feel like family. And that room still touches the work I make today.

Sneaking in a detail shot of a larger painting in progress.

My studio is a 400 sf metal building. My phone gets maybe two bars inside on a good day. I used to find that genuinely annoying. Now I think of it as the best accidental boundary I never set for myself. The outside world stays outside.
In there, I get to build a body of work that is true to me. Work I’m proud of. Work that’s been quietly flying under the radar, in the best way.

Conjunction Series – watercolor and gouache on cotton paper (6”x 5” each).

These petite paintings offer visual balance through two symbols drawn from my sketchbook. These are informal marks I find visually balancing. I’m interested in the tension between geometric and organic forms, particularly how
linear elements activate curvature in space.

Each of these paintings was acquired during the preview pre-sale. Next week, I have the honor of delivering these pieces to everyone who collected. Your support means the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am honored to have been photographed by my dear friend and talented photographer, Toni Smailagic. I’ve had the privilege of working in this small studio space for 5 years now. It still amazes me that this was once just a dream in my sketchbook.

The start of a new series: Vibrational Fields - Fine Line Series No. 5 & No. 6. 30” x 50” each - watercolor, gouache and wax on cotton paper.

These paintings will explore the body’s subtle energy centers as vibrational phenomena translating them through symbolic form and layered color.

The latest small scale series titled Sol & Luna - 12”x12” each - watercolor, gouache and wax on cold pressed watercolor paper

In the center is a squared circle. One of many symbols that represent the union of opposites. This is a symbol I have included in other paintings before because of its relevance, but as I travel and see different symbols in the world, in the wild, in my dreams, and subsequently in my sketchbook, the thread of continuity and reassurance prevails.
