I put a roll and 4 candles on Alika’s head because that’s what my mom did to me. She did it to celebrate me turning 4 months, so I did it too. Something so simple (and funny) has become so meaningful to me. Since becoming a mom, I have looked to my mother and the way she mothered me as the golden standard. My mom is sunshine and magic and I’m crying at midnight cause I miss her. ✨☀️anyways, enjoy the cute pics! taken in Columbia, Maryland by @jennikaann
