I FINALLY MET TOM WELLING!!! THANK YOU @calgaryexpo !!! 😭❤️❤️❤️ Also this is my new favourite photo of myself. 😂 by @jennilafleurcreative

Second #edmontonexpo post! Thanks again to everyone who stopped by my booth even if it was just to say hi or check out my prints. You all made me feel very loved. 🥰 this is going to be a long one.. ✨Sean Astin remembered me from the last time I met him (when I showed him the drawing I got him to autograph at Calgary Expo a few years ago). I told him I got the table, both there and in Calgary, and thanked him for helping me get them. He said “you know you would’ve got them without my help right?” And I said yes ( because I definitely could have I just didn’t realize it at the time). He gushed over the two drawings I gave him prints of and was thrilled when I told him they were for him. I gave him a candy bracelet that said “po-tay-toes” and he immediately put it on and I know for a fact he wore it all day because I’ve seen videos of him wearing it in photo-ops. After he took a bunch of photos of us with my cellphone I asked him if I could shake his hand and he said yes and then took my hand in both of his and told everyone nearby that my hand was special and “this is the hand of an artist!”🥰 and honestly I’m surprised I didn’t cry because I totally thought I would this time. If I ever get a chance to meet him again I’m definitely going to take it. ❤️ He is officially one of my favourite people ever. I don’t know if next year can top this one… #seanastin #samwisegamgee #samwisethebrave #thegoonies #bobnewby #lordoftherings #portraitartist #yegartist by @jennilafleurcreative

This year’s Calgary Expo was awesome! I got to meet @realmichellehurd for a second time!! She told me she has her copy of my Raffi drawing framed and oh my heart! And I got a hug!! 🥹❤️ Meeting @gordoncormier_official @dallas_liu and @john_rhys_davies and seeing their reactions to my art made all the hard work worth it and made my entire weekend. If you see this I just want to say THANK YOU again! 🥰 And I brought Denis Lawson some of my Star Wars prints as a gift and he was so sweet! 🥰 Calgary Expo will always be my happy place. Even if I did fall down some stairs and hurt my knees and my ankle while I was there this year.. 😅🫣Yay for everyone being in the same building next year though! Also, shoutout to the paramedic/emt(?) who helped me, wrapped my ankle, and wheeled me back to my booth. I hope she sees this too. 🫶🏻 #calgaryexpo #calgaryexpo2024 by @jennilafleurcreative

💖💜🩵 I didn’t think I’d be able to finish this so quickly but once I finally sat down and worked on it for more than an hour at a time it went by so fast. I can’t believe it’s finished! I am SO happy with it and I’m so glad I finally took the leap and decided to draw it bigger. 🥹💖 Reference used is a photo of @joelocke03 by @josephsinclair from May 2022. #joelocke #fanart #colouredpencil #neonpink #portraitartist by @jennilafleurcreative

Almost 16 hours of work in less than a minute. 💖💜🩵 I didn’t think I’d be able to finish this so quickly but once I finally sat down and worked on it for more than an hour at a time it went by so fast. I’m trying to finish this drawing in the next few days but I wanted to post another quick sneak peek. 💖💜🩵 Reference used is a photo of @joelocke03 by @josephsinclair from May 2022. #joelocke #fanart #colouredpencil #neonpink #portraitartist by @jennilafleurcreative

I’m so excited about this one. I did a smaller one with markers in my little sketchbook back in January and I’ve been wanting to do a bigger version ever since then. I love how it’s turning out so far! 💖 Reference used is a photo of @joelocke03 by @josephsinclair from May 2022. #joelocke #fanart #colouredpencil #neonpink by @jennilafleurcreative

My kid went as the Petrova Line from @projecthailmary at @edmontonexpoofficial last weekend! It was so much fun! Here’s a timelapse video of me making their costume. #cosplay #projecthailmary #edmontonexpo by @jennilafleurcreative

It’s getting really close to Edmonton Expo again so I decided to share all 24 of the drawings (not including the ones in my sketchbook) that I’ve done since Edmonton Expo 2025. Hopefully this reaches the right people! I’ll be in the same spot I’ve been in since 2023 (A820 in Artist Alley)! Can’t wait to see you there! 🥰 #edmontonexpo #edmontonexpo2026 #edmontonartist #portraitartist #yegartist by @jennilafleurcreative

Another Spider-Man drawing finished! This was done with colored pencils and white acrylic markers and it took me around 15 hours altogether. I have a few more that I want to draw but I’m waiting until I can find better reference photos before I attempt them. This is my last drawing before Edmonton Expo in just over 2 weeks (Sept 18-20). I need to take a break because I have a couple cosplays to make. I will share them here when they’re done! #spidey #spiderman #spidermanbrandnewday #peterparker #tomholland @tomholland2013 by @jennilafleurcreative
