🦋
right now i’d like to show her … who we turned into🌼

1 heart attack | 2 mini strokes

called:
the “titanic - destined to sink”

told:
“you can’t”
“you’re crazy”
“that’s not realistic”
“women don’t typically get that job”
“you just don’t quite fit the part”

been a little overlooked all my life … and that’s okay.

that girl made me who i am today.
stronger heart.
thicker skin.
relentless determination.

damn proud of who we turned into. 🦋🌼 taken in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina by @jennkat11

Surreal …

8/18 was my last day as Game Day Operations Manager at UNC. On 8/20, I began a new chapter.

Since then, I’ve been to NYC to support the US Open and the grand reopening of Belmont Park, Lexington, KY to support a football game, and Northwestern in Chicago to support the grand opening of Ryan Field.

Yesterday I flew home for the first time since I left … in 1st class … while watching UNC vs. Notre Dame. Talk about a full-circle moment. 🩵

I had no idea how this next chapter would read, but I knew it was time.

Sometimes, all it takes is a leap of faith sprinkled with a little magic to completely change the trajectory of your life.

Home for just over 24 more hours, then I’m back in the air and back in a stadium.

I’ve been asked how I have so much energy …

It’s not energy.

It’s LIFE.

And when life is LIFE-ing, the possibilities are limitless.

Cheers to taking chances, trusting the timing, and having the courage to see where the next chapter takes you. 🤜💥🤛 One. Thing. At. A. Time. taken in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina by @jennkat11
