Rayden has been my friend since middle school. Years ago he told me about his dad, and I spent the next two years turning his story into my first film. TIGHT LETTUCE. 🥬 IndieWire called it “a mix of humor and devastation,” and that’s about right.Going in, I thought I understood addiction. I didn’t. What I found was funnier, stranger, and more human than I expected. The thing that makes you laugh is the thing that wrecks you a scene later. That’s how Rayden’s story actually felt, so that’s what we put on screen.A dark comedy about a son who won’t stop loving his father. My best friend and Vesperia Films partner, Dakota Daulby (@dakotadaulby), co-wrote it with me and plays Joel.
