Being seen trying > never making an attempt to achieve your goals. You gotta put in the reps (quite literally here 🤭) if you want to catch those dreams!!! Be cringe, be “weird”, be whatever, but either way, each time you TRY and DO, it’s a step in the right direction.

A trip to H Mart in less than 60s! INFO👇!!If you haven’t been I definitely recommend you pay this Korean grocery store a visit! There’s a food court on the inside with tons of options, honestly it all looked so good it was hard to choose! They also have the Tous les Jours bakery inside with an incredible selection of pastries! 🥐 def suggest grabbing some food and coffee before exploring the rest of the grocery store! There’s also tons of merchandise as well (gifts, stationary, collectibles, beauty products, etc.) in addition to the actual grocery store component! If possible, I would avoid going on a weekend. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was extremely busy!! Have you been? If so, let me know what your experience was!

You can still do everything you said you would, even if more time has passed than you originally intended. Honestly, a lot of what I create and post isn’t even close to real time 😂 but the point it still keeping the promise to yourself to follow through with the idea, even if it’s been awhile. You can still keep making the progress and creating, even if you get busy or have setbacks. It’s definitely hard balancing a PhD and making content, so consider this your reminder to keep chipping away at your goals! 🫶

When someone is new to town you gotta make a trip to Matt’s El Rancho! This is one of my favorite low key places to take people, and there’s so much parking it makes getting there way less stressful 🥵 but I think they also do valet (🤭) nothing too fancy but still good food and drinks! Definitely add it to your list if you’ve never been!

a few months ago I found this amazing Coach bag at the thrift! Honestly such a steal but she needed some TLC. I ended up using a stain stick to wash out the stain from the inner wallet/mini bag. Then I gave her a good vacuum, a quick steam on the inside liner, and did a leather cleaner and polish. Now she’s good as new and fits so much stuff! 🫶

Ever hear the line “if you think you are beaten, you are”? Well if you think you are beaten you will probably look like it and people can tell. Getting a PhD is hard and sometimes it’s hard to not look like it. Sometimes you are tired, frustrated, or stressed. But it’s important to not let it bleed into things that matter. The ability to compartmentalize and handle those moments with grace is a skill developed over time. Tough times will pass, even if you feel like a diamond in the rough. 🩷💎 and if you are wondering, the line is from the poem “Thinking” by Walter D. Winter
