Hey, it’s me. You don’t see me often around here so let me tell you a bit about myself.

I’ve been passionate about music and specifically electronic music for over 10 years, but I’ve only started DJ’ing in the last 3, and only to small crowds and gatherings.

Do I consider myself a DJ or even an artist? Not quite. Do I have performance anxiety and imposter syndrome? Yes. Strive for perfection? Absolutely. Do I fear performing even though I know it will bring me the biggest joy? 100%.

I recently learned that even the biggest artists in the world are sometimes scared to perform, but they still show up. Just like they say, the hardest part is showing up. And each time I showed up, I delivered.

All this to say, if you’re afraid of not being good enough, just do it anyway. You’ll thank me later.

Cheers,
DJenerate
