What a way to send off summer in my favorite place with my favorite people. Both boys ended up in the championship for this wood bat tournament with Jax’s team battling and coming in 2nd and Jace’s team going undefeated for 1st place. Happy Fathers Day to the ones who make all of my dreams come true. Justin, you’ve made my heart whole from the moment I met you & you and our children have continued to fill my heart until it feels like it may burst. To my TEENAGER, thirteen years of your bright and infectious smile, your non-stop energy and lust for life, thirteen years of you being good at literally anything you try, and those big ocean eyes and even bigger heart. It’s the honor of my life to get a front row seat to watch you grow into the young man you’re becoming. Though, most days I’d love to go back to the little man who wanted me to hold him, watch frozen for the millionth time, hear “awwwby” every night before bed or crash your little car into the ditch and only worrying about your yogurt - just so I could soak in those days a little longer. I love that you’re always my buddy, even when I embarrass you with my loud cheering - I’ll always be front row cheering you on in this universe and every other. Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mama. We may be living through the most AWFUL and gut wrenching time right now, but like these photos show, we’ve also lived every beautiful moment together. You are my best friend in the world, the one I go to when I think I’m doing it all wrong and when I’m doing it right. You’re the epitome of the word MOM. My sweet & spicy baby is SEVEN today. We knew from day one we’d be in for an adventure with you - always our strong willed, opinionated, hilarious and big hearted little soul.
